Was seated quickly and got very good service. I ordered the shrimp scampi which tasted great but had to drop a star due to presentation. There is an argument for cooking shrimp with the tail on to prevent overcooking the end and some say it adds flavor. At this price point however, once cooked, the tail should be removed before serving if the shrimp is swimming in a sauce or mixed in a pasta dish. This is NOT finger food and if I wanted to do part of the prep. I would cook it at home.

Hands down the best Italian dining in the mid south. Wally was our waiter and he did an exquisite job at tending to our needs. I took my second mom there for her birthday, along with each of our spouses. I've been a long time patron but it was the other 3 first time. The food was amazing as always. No one (except myself) expected the size of the plates we ordered. I had the baked ziti Sicilian. It was so hefty that it was flowing over the plate. I whole heartedly give Villa Castrioti a 5 start review because the food and the staff deserve it. Oh, and if you go, make sure to order the tiramisu. It is absolutely divine! My spouse had it for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it! Boy was he sad when it was all gone!

Excellent dining experience! We found this gem by accident when searching for a “restaurant near me” after a doctor visit and honestly had one of the BEST meals we have had in a long time! The atmosphere is so nice and the pricing was less than expected with food left over for supper. We will be back!!!

We were pleasantly greeted and seated but no one every came to service us, so we left after waiting almost 20 minutes.
Ok upfront i lived 10 years in italy.
But oh boy that was terrible, i ordered the spaghetti with garlic, the noodles had not been cooked in salt water and therefore tasted like cardboard (how can you mess that up) i just couldn’t eat it, awful.
My son got a pizza margerita, also that dough had no salt at all and tasted like cardboard. (Do you cook for people with high blood pressure???)
We had cajun shrimps as appetizer, I payed 23$ for 5 deep fried shrimp!
This is amongst the worst Italian restaurants in Memphis.

Classy upscale Italian cuisine. From the first bite into the homemade lasagna, I knew this was made by a top notch chef. Portions are very generous as well. Chocolate canoli was bursting with flavor also! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The price is listed on OpenTable are not the same prices at the actual restaurant. The dish on open table was $65 and at the restaurant it was $99. Then on top of that, it was cold.
this is the first time i have ever been disappointed in the food at villa castriotti. The salad was swimming in dressing, just couldnt finish it. The manicotta was good but way way too much cheese on the top. Service was good, waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable re the menu but this was just their usual outstanding food.
This was one of the best meals I've had since becoming a frequent visitor to Memphis. It was a lovely place for a date night, with just the right amount of ambiance to give it a traditional Italian restaurant feel. We had a hard time choosing which entrees looked the best, but I can assure you the shrimp and mushroom fettuccine will not disappoint! Not pictured: the Fried Mozzarella, because I wasn't fast enough to take one, but it's amazing, as well as gigantic!

I frequently eat at Italian restaurants and consider Villa Castrioti to be the best on in Memphis and one of the best in the many I've eaten at across the country. I'm partial to veal and their various veal dishes are delicious.
Excellent place to eat to bring the family price are great the food and the device is excellent

Dawn was my husband and I waitress on Mother's Day 2025. She acted as if she couldn't hear a word I said. She had a very ugly attitude towards me Also, my husband tempted to leave a tip ,due to that nasty attitude she received no tip. I don't recommend Dawn to wait on anyone. My husband and I ask for a booth to say at. We were denied a booth and there were several vacant to my knowledge. My input don't sign up for jobs like that Dawn and the man who denied us a booth, if you don't like serving Certain people. We will not be returning due to poor customer service!!!!!!

What a great night at Villa Cordova. Food was phenomenal, service was amazingly spot-on and the live entertainment was epic! Yum, Yay, and WooHoo!!
Fabulous ambiance, staff was attentive. Only negative is what type of Italian restaurant charges for "bread service"? I don't need endless garlic bread, but that they charge for any of their bread (which isn't anything special) was off-putting.
