this is the first time i have ever been disappointed in the food at villa castriotti. The salad was swimming in dressing, just couldnt finish it. The manicotta was good but way way too much cheese on the top. Service was good, waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable re the menu but this was just their usual outstanding food.

I frequently eat at Italian restaurants and consider Villa Castrioti to be the best on in Memphis and one of the best in the many I've eaten at across the country. I'm partial to veal and their various veal dishes are delicious.

I thought we were dining at a fast food restaurant! Made a reservation & were seated promptly. Took a moment to decide & ordered. Bread & bottle of wine arrived. Salads arrive within 4-5 minutes. Our server asked if we wanted the salads before entrees? YES. I took one bite of salad & one sip of wine AND our entrees arrived!! Piping hot and looking delicious. So if you are looking for a $150 dinner served in less than 52 minutes, this place is for you! PS The manager...
