After a long day enjoying the river on Pickwick lake, I brought my family in for a meal. We were greeted by a gentleman opening the door for us and welcoming us. Then Hannah was swift with our drinks and appetizers. Every portion of food that was brought to our table, we had to wait to cool because they actually serve the food hot. They had done good crispy catfish. Definitely don't overlook the okra. It was great as were the fried green tomatoes. Oh, I almost forgot! While we were waiting for our food, an elderly couple with mobility issues were preparing to leave. As I prepared to get up to help hold the doors, the gentleman that had opened the door for my family and another gentleman that was very attentive to our needs, rushed to the doors to help them. It set my mood for the rest of the visit. Great job crew! Keep up the great work!

Food is always good. Love the smoked catfish, hushpuppies are the best and service is excellent. As far as atmosphere, wish they had some music playing in the dining room. Tables are close and it's a little too quiet for private conversation.
