We stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights. We ate at the restaurant 3 times during that time as we didn't want to leave the park to eat. Breakfast was wonderful. The hashbrowns are so good and my over medium eggs were perfectly cooked. The white toast was very good as well. We were all pleased with our meals and the service. Lunch was also delicious. The club sandwich was perfect and the chicken strips are amazing. They serve steak fries at lunch and dinner. My husband called down to order a couple of to-go meals for dinner so we could eat in our room. When he got down there, the host said he would be right back with our order. He disappeared. My husband waited and waited then flagged someone down to ask about the order and it had not been put in at all. He was rightfully upset. They did give him 10% off and the food was very good once he got it. The host who never put the order in never admitted his mistake or apologized. If not for that experience, I would given 5 stars. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is hot, fresh, and tasty.

Tried to eat dinner, there, the host forgot about us, he was supposed to clean our table , had to track him down and remind him to clean the table, after sitting there for several minutes we never got asked for a drink order or anything, we just walked out, no one seemed to care! Attempted to order food to go, placed the order & the host (same guy) forgot to turn in the order?? This kid needs to be replaced! The rooms are over priced! We won't be back! Very poor customer service!

My family and I stayed here last Tuesday-Thursday and absolutely loved it. My mother and I are both handicapped and we can't express our appreciation enough for being so handicapped accessible. It made our stay really enjoyable. Absolutely love the handicapped boat dock. Very peaceful. The only recommendations I would have is installing a fire pit 😉 I said it to the staff and I'll say it again, thank you so much for being so handicapped accessible. We will be back!!

The management here is terrible. I booked a cabin rental for #10 back in November for 4 nights. When I showed up to check in this past Tuesday, they had moved me to #7 which is on a terrible hillside. I had booked for a fishing tournament so it’s not very easy for a truck and trailer. The manager told me that the entire place was at 100% capacity which was not true. They messed up my reservation and gave my cabin to someone else and didn’t want to do anything about it. Not to mention the cabin itself was not very clean. I’ll never stay there again.

Very nice atmosphere, good food and excellent service. I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Polly, for her attentiveness, food recommendations and friendly service. We will ask for her again the next time we visit.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Beautiful restaurant overlooking the water, with glass walls. The food was spectacular, but I could not say enough about their staff. What a wonderful group of human beings. Genuinely fantastic bunch. A family member was stranded due to inclement weather and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel at home. It is sometimes the simplest act of kindness that reveals the true nature of who people are. And if that holds true, everyone working this restaurant deserves an award. Do yourself a favor and visit them next time you're in the neighborhood. You won't regret it.

Parking: Plenty of spaces

Kid-friendliness: They were very welcoming

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant! We arrived at the lodge on 1/11/24 to 1/15/24 and were here through the winter storm in which our flights were canceled. We weathered out the storm here, and the staff in this restaurant have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Not only are they kind, but the food they provided has been excellent! They had a limited menu (to be expected when the town is shut down), and through this, their daily lunch and dinner menus have been hot comfort foods that have been absolutely delicious! We eat here every time we visit this town and have enjoyed every meal, but this time is different. They treated us as family, and we will never forget this warming hospitality. If I could, I'd rate this place with 10 stars!

I have been waiting for over a year to get the chance to come eat here. I had thought about it all day. However, I was granted with a very bad experience and of all nights, on mine and my husband's anniversary. We wanted to sit in the more romantic section where the lights were lower and the view was better. We got stuck in the brightl lights and the chairs at the table are too low for short people such as myself. Our meal was very disappointing. I had to send my steal back to be cooked like I requested it. The second time it was brought out it still wasn't right. I only ate what I could. I got shrimp on a skewer added to my meal. I bit into one shrimp and had to immediately spit it back out. It was still raw. I knew when she set my plate down the color was not right. She had to take them back too. The steak had flavor but too much pepper. They took the shrimp off our bill but did nothing a out the half of the steak I couldn't finish. I even showed it to her again. I asked if the cook was new but she said no that he had been there for years. Well, he should have known better. The onion rings on my husband's plate was too greasy. We may give it another try and we may not. I don't know. Very disappointed.
