Poppy's is by far the best BBQ in town. Weither it's just a plate or a family meal. I have both and they are just absolutely amazing, the taste of the food is wonderful the ribs fall off the bone and they have amazing potato salad and macaroni and cheese. 100 percent would recommend to anyone

I enjoyed my regular bbq pork sandwich. Was asked if I wanted slaw (of course!) and sauce (of course!). What type of sauce: spicy! Was very good. Lots of meat and appropriate slaw. Meat, slaw, and sauce were all delicious. Price was very fair. I did not have to wait long. I got mine to go and it filled me up. Gentlemen at the counter seemed to enjoy his job. He may have owned the store. He sure looked like a Poppy.
