Overpriced for what you get. Our $35.00 steak was overdone and I had a small black hair in my coconut shrimp. I'm sure it was only facial hair, but still gross.

There was questionable hair in my shrimp batter. $35 steak

We were SHOCKED at the prices!!! So as not to leave without an order, we got the cheese sticks and a seltzer water (we don't drink soda of ANY kind). Again, we were beside ourselves at the price they charged for a "can" of seltzer water (divided between us by the waitress), 8 dollars!!! Just for those two items, we paid almost 19 dollars!!!!Not to mention the fact that the air conditioning unit was not only super noisy and distracted from the "atmosphere " but was also DRIPPING on the carpet, which gave a slightly moldy smell.Out of curiosity, we saw a table near us and noticed the TINY little salad bowls being served to them. Then, the waitress brought out their dinners and they looked like they had plenty of space left on each plate for more food, but it was bare. WOW !!!! Wonder how much they paid for THEIR "meals " meager as they were!!!We can't afford to come back !Oh, and photos??? Of what??? A can of seltzer and cheese sticks (6 of them)????Before I posted, I was asked what dishes we would recommend. Well, it certainly isn't the cheese sticks!!! 6 small sticks for 9 dollars??? Who do they think we are?? The ROCKAFELLERS?!???!!??

Waited a LONG time after being seated for someone to wait on us. The beer was hot, the catfish was soft, and the rice was dry. Paid way too much for what we got. Will not be back. Taco Bell would have been better.

First time there. Right on the River with an awesome view. Live music. We had Prime rib and Ribeye dinners. No alcohol. $58.00. Service was ok, nothing exceptional. A little pricey but it was good and we'll be back.It is with a heavy heart that I have changed my review. My family has been there many times over the last several years. Tonight 1/12/24 was likely the last time. We ordered the 8 once filet mignon and a 14 once ribeye. Both were ordered med rare. My ribeye was so thin that it needed to be on a sandwich and was well done. Sent it back, and it came back raw. When it came back a 3rd time, it was rare on one side and well done on the other. The filet mignon was extremely rare but not sent back. The best part of this $118.00 meal was my ice water and a Pepsi. The service was fine, no live music but the view is still great.Wheelchair accessibility: No handicap access. You must be able to climb 14 steps.

I have been here the past two years for Christmas. Both years I had to get up and refill my own drink. Hardly seen the waiter at all. While having our Christmas party I had to clear the tables myself for the gift exchange. The food is over priced in my opinion. My wife had two drinks 1st was really good and the second was like flavored water. Cold food for some.Oh yeah.. one person ordered the salad with no tomatoes and the waiter picked it out with his fingerTo top it off, they added the 20% gratuity automatically. When the waiter doesn't seem to care at all and it's that poor of quality, that's a joke.

Y’all ready I actually lived here my entire life so I’m a bit partial to the area, I’ve been coming to the River Heights Restaurant before my feet would touch the floor in a normal chair and the food was good then and it is now.Now this is not a 5 star restaurant and it’s not meant to be, it does has a good atmosphere it very clean and that’s important these days and the food is really good not Ruth’s Chris good but really it doesn’t cost 100’s either. Our server Britney was over the top!! Great job!!So come on by you won’t be disappointed I certainly haven’t in 30 years!!Also here’s the most current menus

This is a hidden gem! We just moved here from Tampa, Fl and the Good restaurants in town are nil. I get we are spoiled by having so many restaurants at our fingertips coming from Fl., but this place is very good. The fried shrimp is better than we got in Fl. And the wait staff is awesome. I hope others discover this place where good food is almost impossible to find!
