Ate here for a late lunch. Fried green tomatoes were delicious...nice crunchy exterior with the center being tender. Pimento cheese on top made it even better. I had house greens with grilled chicken. Some of the greens were a little wilty but that might have been because of the hot grilled chicken which was really tadty. Small is perfect size. Partner had chef salad which was enormous...took at least half home for dinner. Iced tea was also good. Will try again for dinner...shrimp...
This place exudes charm. From the detailing on the front door to the French press carafes filled to the brim with Mayfly coffee - this place is a hidden gem tucked away in Dayton. We came for Sunday brunch, and it was phenomenal. The catfish was perfectly breaded, the shrimp and grits packed a punch. Be sure to ask about their cinnamon rolls! Friendly staff and prompt service. Definitely worth the wait on a busy Sunday afternoon!
They need to offer bread with sweet butter at dinner, thats the big missing link. The apple salad was great! 4 stars cuz of no bread and they forgot to blacken my husbands steak. Most nice restaurants give bread with butter at the start.
