Fun little place with lots of character and personality. The absolute best turnip greens I've ever had and the spicy chicken drumsticks were life changing. I just wish I had known about this place sooner. Go. Eat. Enjoy!

Great food, wonderful atmosphere in the most unlikely place. Periodic live entertainment is an added plus, but worth the trip even without it.

Owner very nice but his staff is very unattentative. They acted as if they have never been a waitress before and walk around bumping into each other carrying one cup or plate at a time. Don't know how the food was because the waitress never came back to our table. We left.

We tried Sonny's for the first time Friday night and we're delighted to meet Sonny himself! The staff was wonderful as were the fried shrimp, ribs & blackberry cobbler. Our absolute favorite dish were the greens! We look forward to coming back when there's live music.

Don't go.. takes forever to get your food! Shouldn't take 15 min to get drinks and over an hour to get food. Definitely not coming again
