look of the last 5 times ive been in here ive only had one time go without incident between the elderly lady thats mad at me because i didn't appreciate getting splashed with water to the guy today that didnt check on me once after i got my food and never refilled my drink...like i love waffle house but if this is the best winchester has to offer, its easier to just get the stuff from walmart and make it at home

As I sit here and read others reviews of WH, I realize how picky and petty they are. Maybe that server is having a bad day. Maybe the cook doesn't feel well but tried their best to satisfy you. I think sometimes if you are that picky over your food maybe you should cook it at home and leave those workers alone. WH is a good company, but usually understaffed because ppl today are lazy or just can't handle the job. WH is a relatively hard job. It takes a strong person to deal with hundreds of ungrateful and unappreciative people. Everyone wants to be first priority no matter who was already there. y'all want things special made and picky. You want it correct but rushed. They are humans that make mistakes. So next time you are in there try using some patience, gratitude, appreciation,and compassion for those who cook and wait on you hand and foot so you can be lazy at home and dont have to cook for yourselves.

Came in right after the first day back to school and they were super busy. I guess everyone had the same idea to grab breakfast after the early release. They got us seated quickly and had plenty of staff to get our orders out in a decent time. Our waitress was just attentive enough and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. The manager even came out and gave my kids some waffle House Cooks hats which they loved. Overall it seems like they're doing great after the remodel and we're happy they are back!

Visited in July 2024 to check it out after the recent remodel. Very nice inside, new and clean with the usual Waffle House layout. You get a nice view of the traffic on the boulevard from the booth area at front. I was craving a delicious waffle as I have come to expect, but my waffle was not even browned! I could not believe the fellow cooking would plate a floppy-gloppy mess as I was served. I sent it back, requesting a properly done waffle, and the second one came out crisp on one side and uncooked on the other. Maybe they were having trouble with the waffle iron, not sure but a disappointment. The Angus burger was adequate but not great. Heavenly, our server, was excellent and very nice, so she is a bright spot at this location. We aren't giving up on our Winchester WH, but I hope the get back to making those golden, crispy waffles we all love. Wheelchair friendly with a nice parking lot. Juke box and nice lighting.

We went on a Saturday afternoon. I had a breakfast, my husband had a hamburger, and we both ordered a waffle. One waffle was very, very undercooked. It was still beige colored, and wet. Very strange that it was served like this. It was sent back, the next one was brown on one side, and not cooked on the other. None of the food was remarkable. The burger was ok, but not for the price. The waitress was nice and replaced the waffle. They were not busy. I was disappointed with the overall quality. Complaining to the employees would not have been productive, or resulted in a different outcome.

I just had the worst grilled ham and cheese on Texas toast that I've ever had at Waffle House!!!!!! It was burnt. I should have ordered a charcoal briquette..
