My wife used to come here with here dad in the 2010's. It was my first time and I loved it. Small, local atmosphere and the food was perfect for a day of motorcycle riding.

We drove up here from Huntsville just to get out and try something different. I had the chicken plate and my wife had the brisket. Both meats were very good and moist. We also enjoyed the brocoli salad, baked beans, and macaroni. It was all very good and worth the drive

The bbq is probably the best I’ve had in middle Tennessee. Brisket falling apart, amazing ribs. The sides and sauces are fresh and homemade. Great little secret off Exit 6!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and the owners. Our family has been frequenting The Pit for years, and the food and service are always excellent. Recently, the Pfeiffers opened up late to host a meal for our family following a funeral. The food was delicious, but their hospitality and kindness went above and beyond. We love supporting local folks who are positively impacting our little community!
