This was my first visit to Cook Out. And my last. I had high hopes for this popular fast food chain, based on the traffic that lined up when this location opened. I was pretty shocked when I got my burger. The bun dwarfed the patty, which was about the size of a slider. While the flavor was good, it and the seasoned fries were cold. The best thing Cook Out has going for it is a wide variety on their menu, if any of these items are better than what I had. I hope this was a one off incident for them, but I'm not up for trying again.

Food would have been good but to much mustard and mayo on sandwiches and order fries got two onion rings per combo. Was told that was all they give. Needless to say won't go back.
Went by to get a couple of bacon wraps about 15 minutes before I had to get to work with some guy in front of me in the Drive-Thru they served him enough food for three families while I sit there in line for at least 10 minutes or more and cars stretched around the building they should have people with that large of an order come inside so that people at the drive-thru don't have to wait, then when I finally got to the window I found that they served me food with burnt bacon and I didn't find out till I got to work so it ruined my meal and ruined my day when I went back the manager said yes we realize the bacon was burnt, and I asked her then why in the world would you serve that to me after having me wait more than 10 minutes in line and then I was late for work and then had to leave work and come back to try to get this food straightened out I just told them I wanted my money back I will never ever buy food from this absolutely ridiculously useless restaurant again....

Can't say enough good things about Cook Out! I was stoked to find they branched out of North Carolina on a recent trip to shop in Dickson, and had to stop in to see if it was still as good as I remember years ago. Spoiler... It's better! The service and food are on point, the shakes the best you will ever have, with value and variety to match. The food was hot and fresh, despite only a brief wait in drive thru. IMHO... the benchmark by which all "fast food" should be shooting for. Thank you!

Burger was too small. And cold. They forgot my bacon. The onion rings were soggy. I went through the drive thru so can't say much about the atmosphere. This was my first time eating from there. I plan on giving them another try just to be sure if I like or dislike this establishment. My review may change once I do.

I love Cook -Out, but the fact that I have to continuously ask for napkins is off putting. What are we supposed to do? Wipe our hands on our shirt? I know restaurants are cost-cutting, but if you're serving greasy, fried food, napkins are a must.

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap and there was NO chicken on it. It was literally a big thing of bacon made to look like a chicken tender!
