If you want a little taste of heaven… pay a visit to Deep South Pies. I stopped by on my way to a corporate event to pick up some tasty treats and my taste buds couldn’t have been more satisfied. Debbie is amazing and her pies are delicious. I took some home to the family and they were a hit. Homemade and absolutely delicious.

Love dropping in Deep South Pies for lunch to pick up a delicious savory galette (my favorite is spinach artichoke) and a sweet treat (love peach hand pies when in season). There's usually a good selection of other hand pie flavors (apple, cherry, blueberry, chocolate, and more). And the bourbon pecan pie is wonderful. Just remember Deep South is only open Wednesday through Friday. Be sure to call ahead to place special orders.

A must have! The chocolate hand pie was so delicious that I forgot to snap a picture of it and it was completely consumed before I made it back to my hotel (2 minutes away). The crust was flaky and the flavor was just right. I recommend stopping by early for greatest selection.

These pies are simply AMAZING!All butter crust, real fruit fillings, (no fake "syrupy" fruit pie fillings) make these pies incredibly good - like grandma's home made pies (if you had a grandma that was an awesome cook).The flavor and texture make it obvious after your first bite that you're not in a grocery store bakery.**The store hours are terrible - not open enough days for me but this store is run by the owner which is why the pies are so amazing but the store hours are not.Hopefully people will start going back to work again so the store can be open more days. Until then, just watch online and when it's open - get there quickly!100% delicious!
Really yummy pies! I've been here a few times and they are amazing each time. I love her cherry, blueberry, and chocolate hand pies. They are all amazing. I just prefer those flavors. My husband loves her apple hand pies. She only uses fresh ingredients. She makes them fresh throughout the day. Definitely recommend this place! So delicious!

Decided to pop in on a random Wednesday around lunch will be forever grateful we did! Right off the bat it smelled like heaven. We ordered the tomato basil and mushroom red pepper galettes and they were AMAZING. Crispy and light and so flavorful. We also tried the blueberry and apple hand pies and they were crispy and delicious and not too sweet, which is just what I would prefer. The owner was the sweetest gal and was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

When I heard a pie place opened up in Dickson I had to give it a try. We ordered a variety of hand pies (all are baked not fried), a couple key lime tarts and some galettes. It was all so good! I highly suggest the galettes and the cherry hand pie. Will be back!
