It was my first time to visit there and the staff was friendly and courteous. The meal was served in a timely manner and the food was delicious. I live approximately 3 hours from El Mariachi, but the next time I come to Dickson, TN, I'll be stopping there for another delicious meal!

I've been here a couple times now and the fajitas are hit and miss. Came in one late afternoon for an early dinner and the fajitas were pretty good. The second time I came in for lunch the fajitas were terrible and the meat was not even cut it was in one piece very poor taste. I decided to try a third time not much better neither and my fajita was with lots of tomato I couldn't even find barely any peppers. That's three attempts so it was not a one-off. Not sure what happened but a place that I thought would be great to come back to unfortunately is not. Servers, you do a great job when we first sit down but then you disappear afterwards. You need to check on your customers more than once, ask if they need refills, if they need anything else that goes a long way.

I have been here many times. Last night will be our last. The food quality was terrible and the service was worse. We ordered a fajita chicken quesadilla and we had to hunt for the little PCs of chicken. The food actually was flavorless. The service was terrible. Waiter was rude. Walked up to table and said what to drink. Left came back said what are you eating. That was all that was said. Very curt and hateful. Never smiled. It was as if we were bothering him. There are lots of options for Mexican in Dickson. We will go elsewhere.

I left another place a bad review. Hafta balance things out. This place has great food. Better than the Mexican restaurant in my hometown in Ohio. The dining area is pleasant. The wait staff are attentive.
