Don’t bother ordering ahead or scheduling pizza to be ready at a certain time. I ordered 2 hours (at 4:06) ahead for a pick up at 6:15. I go to oicm it up and they say it’ll be at least another 30-45 minutes before they could start on my order. Super disappointing. They did refund my order.

I had a terrible experience with this pizza place today and in the past. I ordered the pizza and came to pick it up after 30 minutes, only to be told that they hadn’t even started my order. It was incredibly ridiculous and poor service. I won’t be doing business with them anymore.

This was the worst food ordering experience I’ve ever had. I placed an order at 6:40 PM with a pickup estimate of 7:17 PM. I arrived at 7:30 PM and was told my food (one pizza and cheese bread) wasn’t even in the oven yet. I ended up waiting until after 8 PM. Several other customers came and left frustrated after being told the same thing. One man said he’d been waiting 45 minutes for a single pizza. When I asked for some compensation for the long wait, the GM initially tried to void my order and not give me my food. I insisted on getting what I paid for and expressed that other stores would have provided better service. The GM, Emily, told me everyone else was waiting an hour too and they wouldn’t do anything about it. On top of the terrible service, a worker with a heart tattoo near her eye was making pizzas without gloves or a hair net, then handling money without washing her hands. Completely unacceptable. I will never return.

This would be a good place to open a pizza business. Placed an online order this morning for 11:30 delivery. Pizza had not arrived by 12:15 so I called and they said they would send another one right out. It’s now 12:40 and I haven’t seen or heard anything.

Ordered in line 45 minutes after delivery time pizza still hadn’t arrived. Called and was told it was waiting on me there. I said it was supposed to be to be delivered. He said he didn’t have a driver. I asked why he didn’t let me know. He said he couldn’t control door dash. And didn’t have my info to call. The did refund my money and make me a fresh pizza. However he was rude and obnoxious. Other customers came in I stepped back to wait. He continued to rant and tell me it wasn’t his fault. He has had not training in customer service.
I ordered original crust which is not flat and hard. They did not even taste like it used to. They also forgot to cut 2 of the 3 pizzas. It is mid day and they was not busy on a Monday.

43.00 dollars for one large pizza and garlic knots. We used a coupon for 19 dollars and they still charged us full price. The pizza was not good either. The crust was like eating shoe leather. The garlic knots were not garlic knots just dough. They were not seasoned with anything. If I could have given a half a star I would have. Worst Papa John's I've ever ate at. Would definitely recommend going to one of the other pizza places in Dickson. This Papa John's is horrible.
