Holy cow the potatoes are massive. You will have leftovers. The food is very good. If you don't like margarine you can ask for butter instead. There's a generous amount of toppings on your spud depending on what you get. Plenty of seating for the side of restaurant it is. Aside from the older lady that works who is kinda rude everyone else on the staff is great. The food came out fast. You can eat inside, get it to go, or go through the drive thru.

I was DD there. I arrived 2 mins prior to pick up. It took 7 mins to even be acknowledged by a very rude girl. Who after just stood around and disappeared in the back. It took 37 mins!!! For 4 potatoes to be made. 4 seperate customers were not even acknowledged during this time and actually walked out. This is very poorly ran and the staff were not only rude but unprofessional. DD should NEVER have to call a vendor and ask why an order is taking too long. We will never be coming to this restaurant or ordering

Hadn't eaten here in many years and when I recently did, I was saddened by how it doesn't taste the same. Back when I had it all those years ago, there was enough butter and cheese and meat on the potatoes... and the flavor is different now as well; back then it was hearty and made with love.(at the first location) Gave the atmosphere 4 stars bc its nice inside. The cashier seemed disconnected but was professional. Sheesh)':

I just wanted to give a shout out to Tater Shack for their amazing hospitality Wednesday night!!! They close at 7pm and here I am pulling up and hobbling in at 6:50 pm.
Before y’all come after me about rude coming in that late I do want to apologize!!!! I just had a baby a few days prior and I just DID NOT feel like standing in the kitchen to make something!!
They were so welcoming and were super quick to get me a very hot and VERY DELICIOUS meal!!
So again… THANK YOU!!! We will be returning very soon.

A bit disappointed prices have gone up. Portion sizes have gone down. I used to be able to order the chef's salad with ham and extra ham on the side and it literally being able to be extra. Now I have to use it just to make their original amount of ham they used to give.

The place is pretty small, but the food is decent and the price isn’t too bad for the amount of toppings you get on the potatoes. The servers were to the point, not too interactive, but also not rude. The restaurant was also pretty clean and the tables advertisements are nice to look at. Overall, i’d recommend trying this place once if you haven’t already

WOW! The jumbo baked potato with 24 different combinations of toppings is a must stop for a great meal! Tater Shack is nothing fancy on the decor but I did have a smile looking at all the “Mr. Potato Head” collectibles. I had the “Tater of the Week” which was the BBQ chicken and it was delicious with generous portions of meat! The weekly special comes with a free fountain or can drink but I chose their sweet tea as they serve Pepsi products versus “the real thing” soft drink!
