If you’re traveling along Highway 70 through Tennessee, make sure to stop at the Twisted Oak Saloon! This hidden gem might look like a hole in the wall, but it has so much to offer. My brother and I stumbled in for some wings and a drink, and we were blown away by the experience.
Katie, the bartender, was absolutely amazing—her hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the wings! They were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The mad Mike sauce was a standout, adding just the right kick to every bite.
This place is a must-stop for anyone traveling through the area. Great food, excellent service, and a relaxed vibe—what more could you ask for? Can’t wait to come back!

We went to get drinks, appetizer and to listen to Zone Status Saturday night. It was great. We sat outside in whimsical courtyard. It had a couple of firepits that added to relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend. We will have to come back and enjoy a meal as well. It must be good because parking lot was full and it was hopping inside.

Great food, great service, charming atmosphere, clean facility. What more can you ask for? Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has been delicious! Also, fabulous Bloody Mary’s and Mama’s Special drinks. I’ll be back! That Rueben and Smithville Hot Chicken sandwich, bourbon bbq wings have me hooked.

Owner extremely rude. Brought in one outside Beer and kicks out 20 people. Could have given a courtesy. We weren’t disrespectful. Don’t go here.

We stopped in on a Sunday, was not very busy . We ordered breakfast, something quick to get back on the road. We waited about 45 minutes for our meal. The eggs were way over cooked and rubbery. Waitress was nice. Might return but definitely won't order breakfast.
Music outside and a nice comfortable more quiet are inside. The food was excellent. In fact, it was the first time here and the first time in a long time I ordered a medium well steak and that's exactly what I got. The steak didn't need anything, it was great. My husband got the crusted walleye and it too was excellent. Prices were worth the quality of food and service we got. Parking was hard to find but with the quality of the meal we ate, you know why. Definitely will be back.

Top tier server! She was so very patient with us while we were talking and catching up at our table. Decent food. They have a dog friendly patio and a venue for live entertainment on the weekends! Definitely scope them out if you're in the Smithville area
