The food is very good, however next door it's sad how much they mark stuff up, a gallon of milk was almost $8.00, talk about price gouging, the only reason people probably shop here is because there's no other choice.
Stopped here on the way to the mountains and grabbed a corn dog and fried mushrooms- super good! We also stopped on the way back home and got a burger, the club sandwich and onion rings with sweet tea which all of it was good as well and very large portions! Cute little country diner we are glad we found it and will be back!
The food was decent. My kids didn't care for the chicken tenders, but my catfish po'boy was good. The fries were good. The interactions with the waitress at first made us feel unwelcome. She was friendly to the patrons she knew and cold to us. She warmed up over time, which is why I have service 3 stars. Fox News was playing on the television, making the atmosphere less than pleasant.
