It's a little out there but it's worth the drive. Our server was nice and courteous. Kept the drinks full and was able to hold a conversation. The food was great and can't out fast.

My church party of 5. 3 of us ordered BLT with crispy bacon. All 3 sandwiches had raw bacon on them. Our waitress didn't come back to our table so we had to get someone else to get more drinks and our bill. Very disappointed!

Wife and I went in the middle of the week. The folks working there were very nice. But our food was not very good. We'll not be going back. The scenery is beautiful we drive from chattanooga to crossville monthly. It's a beautiful drive. We'll just wait and dine in crossville from now on.
Everything was just Ok.
-Pork Chops = too salty
-Country fried steak =came out lukewarm with clumpy gravy
-Green beans = ok
-Beets = good
-Deviled eggs = ok
-potato salad = awful may have been soured
-Chocolate Pie = ok

We tried the Cookie Jar first time and we were greatly disappointed. There was gnats in the cornbread. And to be honest the only thing that was good of the food was the chicken tenders and catfish.

The food came out in a reasonable time, however it was mostly lukewarm or cold which was disappointing. One important thing that stuck out was the handicap parking. They should have a ramp where the gravel and concrete meet for better accessibility.

Well, bad experience this past time, really only ones in there, didnt get drinks right, hardly came back and checked, out of deviled eggs, sweet potato wasn't cooked all the way, rolls were hard as a rock, fried okra tasted like it had been sitting out all day, and the food was barely warm. Come on Cookie Jar! Been coming for years, super disappointed 😞.

My Church Ladies and I had a great experience at The Cookie Jar. I had the Sweet Tea Chicken with vegetables and coleslaw, I'm gonna have the Catfish the next visit 😋 The food was delicious and the country atmosphere was really nice. I will be coming back soon and gonna bring my siblings with me. See ya soon!
Michelle our server ( on a scale from 1-10 she was a 15 ).we had 5 in our party. We were seated quickly had plenty of time to order. Our order was at the table in less than 10 minutes. Portions were huge, and so good. Then on to dessert so much to choose from and all so good. Can’t wait for our next visit. See you soon Cookie Jar Cafe.
Great service! Michelle is the best! She is very attentive and takes excellent care of her customers. Cornbread and rolls are the best! Don’t leave without dessert!
Our friends, Chris and Kathy Hubbard-Schniering treated us to a great meal here today as our first time to eat here, and it was fantastic! Food was quality, hot, and came out remarkably fast!
Amazing food and great service!
