I've been here twice, I love that it's on a farm and the new building is really nice. The food could be better. I had the pork roast. I know from personal experience that a pork roast is extremely difficult to dry out, but they managed to do exactly that. I tried the cornbread salad. I figured out that I do not actually like cornbread salad. If you like your cornbread mixed with some mayo, then it might be for you.

I strongly recommend this place! We drove an hour to find this gem. It is real home cooking. I had pot roast, fried okra, and Mac n cheese. The portions were so big that I took half of it home and ate it for breakfast the next morning. I also got a whole butterscotch pie. I Sat down later that evening with the pie and a fork thinking I was just going to eat a little. Half the pie was gone before I realized it!!!!

I ordered the meat loaf which was mushy and looked like it was scooped out with an ice cream scoop. The Mac and cheese was ice cold and some off brand Kraft type too. The mashed potatoes was ok. The chocolate cake was the best part. It was a store bought mix. I won’t be back, I rather go to home folks for half the price and better...
