It's ok. The staff is great. Food is ok. Deviled eggs, not good. Meatloaf was fine. If you have a choice between Cookie Jar and Cracker Barrel, go to Cracker Barrel. They charge 2.5% on credit cards, not on debit cards. I paid cash so it didn't matter. Location is nice. Parking lot is gravel so individuals that require walking assistance or balance struggles may find it challenging. They do have a ramp to get it. Best part was the staff.
12.27.25. We visited Cookie Jar Cafe for the first time. The food was great! I had the BBQ pork w/veges and my husband had the hamburger steak, salad and veges. He said the rolls were amazing. Our waitress was very attentive. We give them a 5 out of 5 star review. We will visit again!
It's a little out there but it's worth the drive. Our server was nice and courteous. Kept the drinks full and was able to hold a conversation. The food was great and can't out fast.
