My husband enjoyed his hamburger that was freshly partied in the kitchen, not a frozen burger patty. My chicken & dumplings and mashed potatoes were very good and also freshly made.

Little diner right when you come into town. Friendly staff and great home cooking. I felt like I was visiting my grandmother again. Food and service is phenomenal.

We were traveling through town to Chattanooga. I saw the restaurant and reviews on FB, thought be good place to grab breakfast halfway into our day trip. It was early like 7-7:15. Server was nice at first, restaurant was pretty clean but couple tables not bussed yet. Only one server. Like I said very nice, did notice he was carrying a side arm. Didn’t concern me as I also carry. Yet, it was tad intimidating. We get our coffee, good coffee. Order our breakfast simple I got sausage, two eggs over, hashbrowns and gravy. Husband got bacon same way. 45 min later food comes out cold. My husband comments and without word grabs both plates and leaves. Another table sees this and they get up to leave without ordering. Plates come back. My eggs are basically raw and everything still cold. Biscuits could’ve been used as softballs, hard as a rock. And I didn’t get gravy only my husband did. We shared and it was probably the most edible of the dish. When we travel I always try to find the local “mom and pop” places to support them over chain, yet I’ll not try this one ever again, for breakfast anyway.
Never tell the customer that it is their taste buds that is the reason why they don’t like their drink

We tried the lunch, the stuffed peppers, turkey and dressing, squash casserole, and broccoli and cheese were all unedible! The peppers were more like a tomato soup with some peppers in it. The rest was just not good. The only edible items were the pineapple p taco salad and the fried okra.
The server did his job well and kept our drinks filled.

My husband and I always enjoy stopping at mom and pop places while going on vacation. We stopped here on the way through, if negative stars could be given it would. The restaurant was not the cleanest there was little to no service, we waited over an hour for our food. For two meals and two coffees it was $30 bucks. I would recommend Waffle House over this place. Save your time and money and go some place else.

Disgusting. I stopped by this place hoping for a decent meal, but what I got was barely edible. The eggs were cold, the bacon was gross, and the toast tasted like it had been dropped on the floor and reheated in a microwave. The place had a funky mildew smell. I’ve had gas station food that was fresher and more appetizing.
