Horrible experience. I was at the bakery and picked out the cake from the book.I waited about 20 minutes or so, the woman was on the phone taking an order, and no others offered help. I left. An hour drive from my home. I called the next day, a Wednesday i believe. I described the cake, she found it in the book, she asked all the cake details and I ordered it. It was for Sunday, but I said I would prefer Saturday in case something went wrong...It was a birthday cake for a birthday celebration, with many family members in a church hall after service. I arranged to pick it up around 11 am. on Saturday.When i went to pick it up, there was no cake, not even an order for it. I showed the woman from my phone the 2 calls to the bakery regarding the order.She asked me the details for the cake, and if I wanted to go home and come back later to pick it up...no....I would wait. If I had set it up for Sunday morning pick up, I would have no cake for about 50 people. I will never order a cake from there again. It looked nothing like the picture, a d I still ended up with a cake half the size I ordered, after confirming 2x what size I needed.The woman did her best to rectify the problem, she was very sweet, and discounted the cake, but it was still not the right size...so I just paid and left.
