We love coming to Cracker Barrel in Dyersburg Tn but we would like to see the quality of the food improve.It has really changed in the last year or two.Not enough help and food was not good.Wish they hadn't taken the sweet potato off it was my favorite.

I mean it was edible, barely, but we were hungry. We had to ask for utensils. So basically our food was cold by the time we finally got what we needed in order to eat our food. Poor food and poor service. We were going to get up and leave, but we just decided we'd never go back. Fish was cold, meatloaf was burned and dry. Train your servers and cook's.

I enjoy going back in the past how they have set up looking at pictures and items hanging from ceiling,eat there at least 4 times a week all over the state I'm from,hope they don't mess things up with woke movement and tradition.

Only good thing was the 5 minute wait to be seated. We ordered our drinks and they didn’t come very fast and then when we did order our food we didn’t get it for 1 hour and 15 minutes after we ordered it. The waitress didn’t come by and check on us or bother to come tell us if our food was running late or anything. Then after we did get our food she came by and said you don’t need anything else right? I’m going to be in the back and won’t be back out to check on you. When we paid the manager asked how our service and food was and we told her horrid as she said with a smile on her face “ oh, I’m sorry” obviously the smile on her face suggested she wasn’t really that sorry. Will definitely not ever be back to eat at this location again.

I ordered chicken fried chicken, it came out thick hard and rubbery! My friend ordered the meatloaf and Southern Chicken. Our chicken was the same kind. Hers also was rubbery. We used a steak knife to try to cut it! It was so nasty! I kept waiting for our server to come ask why mine is just sitting there but she never did. She finally came by and gave us the bill. I told her we couldn’t eat the. Chicken and asked was it really the chicken fried chicken or southern. All she said was it was fresh. Never asked if I wanted something else or offered a discount off the bill. It was still there, not eaten! I did eat my baked potato, I was hungry! So I paid over $14.00 for a baked potato! It was not busy at all, so our server had time to come check on us, but didn’t.
I hope we never have to stop there again in our travels!

The Food was AMAZING!!!
very friendly staff, a few minor mess upstairs but not vital, me and a buddy of mine have made it a regular place to meet up because the staff is always very kind and when we have a problem they fix as fast as they can which is much appreciated, but all the staff is very respectful, would come back.

Ordered a “to go order” tonight. No one was at the hostess stand when I arrived. Stood there for 10 mins …. Guy behind the check out counter never offered to ask if I need anything or even seat me, which I didn’t need to be seated I needed my to go order. Finally another employee showed and I told her I had a pick up order. I had a line of people behind me that she seated before she even went to the back to check on my order, which is fine. . . Took me 10 mins to get my to go order. I was missing a drink and syrup. Went to pay and told the guy that, he went to the back and came back WITHOUT it. Said “they are back there fixing it up for you.” Like why couldn’t he have just grabbed it so I could have been on my way. The “to go worker” came out with someone else’s order and said “do you need something?”. I said “Yes, did he not tell you that I needed my drink and my syrup.” She said “I put syrup in there.” I proceeded to open the bag because she attempted to argue with me and I had my hands full trying to pull the food out of the bag to show her. THEY WEREN’T EVEN BUSY! And I can see why. If service is like this every time, I won’t be back. I’ll take my pregnancy craving to Waffle House and be just as happy!

The food here is always good. I like the fried shrimp, but they have a lot of good food, like the southern fried steak or their Mac n cheese, which is the best restaurant Mac n cheese in all of Dyersburg, likely this side of the Mississippi, but of course that's a stretch. The service is really good, I've never had a bad waiter or waitress, and they are almost always quick with refills. The atmosphere of course is far more unique than a lot of restaurants.

Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu is very good.

I had the chicken broccoli dinner and this one seemed smaller size then the one I had in FL last month. I will say the chicken was very tender and very tasty also the meal came very quickly
