Amigo Mexican Restaurant

This is my favorite amigos location and it has never let me down. Always happy to serve and never bad quality food. If anyone asks for Mexican restaurant recommendations this is at the top of my list.

Our lunches were delicious. Great service. Clean and welcoming place.

Fajitas and my House citrus cocktail were yummy! Wasn't offered water to wash down the chips and HOT salsa. Would be nice to know which is hot and which is mild, if you're offering two salsas. Otherwise I enjoyed the atmosphere and the terracotta cup my drink was served in made the drink so refreshing!

It has taken 25 minutes to get waited on once seated. Four ladies clearing tables, three sitting in booth visiting, two guys were at drink station, and we sat watching everyone . Once stared at one lady, she came and got drink ordered and delivered. Few minutes later came back to take order. Food was bland which is unusual for Mexican food. Not that busy, so was shocked service was not adequate as before they are there before getting seated.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The Taco salad with steak or chicken, fajitas, queso and chips and I love their Strawberry margaritas!!!

Always good food

I've been coming here since I was a kid that would order hamburgers at a mexican restaurant! It's still my absolutely fave place to meet friends and family when I go back to visit my hometown. The staff knows us and treats us like family. Their food is consistently great with healthy portions! We call the cheese dip, crack cheese, because you can't stop eating it!! We LOVE this place!

Something has changed here. We used to come very frequently but we haven't been in a few months. First- The good: The service is always very friendly and attentive. Some of our food was really good like the cheese dip and side items. The bad: it had a dirty dish rag smell in the back part near the bar where our table was located. We ordered our 3 year old the number 8 child's plate which was a soft beef taco with beans and rice. The beans and rice were great. The taco smelled like cat or dog food. I took a bite and it tasted like it smelled. When I opened the taco it even looked like it and did not have the usual tell-tale crumble of meat. I AM NOT accusing them of using animal food, but it was inedible. Maybe it was just a bad thing of meat, but it really made us not want to go back.

As I sit here and eat my dinner with my family and realize this restaurant is very well-rounded and the food is delicious. We'll stop on my way back .

Have not been here in awhile and I must say the food was amazing! Friendly staff and it was quick and easy to order my food.

Everything I would expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was lively, the food was excellent, and our server was on top of it! Refills were timely, and he was very friendly. Definitely will be back!

Fast to go tostadas and tacos around Sunday just after Noon.
A bit loud, although I enjoy the sound de familias hablamamos Espanol! 🍸

Great place and awesome service. Free chips and salsa and they have taco Mondays each taco is only a little over a dollar!
