After seeing that this was a southern franchise, we were interested in trying it as we were staying at a local hotel. Initially, we were given a bag that had entrees, but after reviewing once gettout to the car, we noticed the appetizers weren't in the bag. Simple mistake, they had been made but never put out with the to go order. The breading and crunch were inconsistent on all the chicken. The fried Green tomatoes were mushy, the breading not crunchy in the slightest. The best thing we ate were the fried pickle spears, but the breading kept falling off of them. All in all, I'm not impressed at all.

Best chicken strips and mac and cheese I’ve had in a while! Champy’s Punch was also good but strong! If we are ever visiting Chattanooga again, we will definitely come back here!

We pulled off the interstate looking for food and this was one of the first places we saw. It’s inviting I will say that. It looks fun. But….it’s a huge bar. This is NOT a family restaurant (even though there were lots of families there). It reminds me of something at Panama City or Daytona Beach. It’s not Hooters or Twin Peaks level, but the waitresses mostly wear Daisy Duke style shorts and tight (some revealing) t-shirts. Also, the restrooms are disgusting. And I don’t mean dirty. The walls are full of graffiti that was shocking. Lots of filthy language, ads for Onlyfans, and overtly sexual and racist remarks are written in full view of any and everyone. If I were in management or ownership of this place I would take a good hard look into this. I am by no means a prude, but I couldn’t believe what was written eye-level at the urinals. It’s middle of nowhere truck stop bad. Food-wise, this is basically Popeyes or Bojangles that you pay triple for. We had fried chicken, chicken sandwich and catfish. All were edible but we were out around $65 for something we could have gotten at a drive thru for less than $20. The food tasted fine, but nothing to write home about. Service was good. But I have no reason to ever return.

We both had chicken and it was large pieces and the sides were very good too. Our server was excellent, and this is a fun atmosphere. If passing through on I-75 again, we may come again.

This was a true delight when visiting Chattanooga. The burger and the food was great and we were served by a lovely server called Lexi who made every effort to make us feel welcome. She explained the menu, and helped us select the right amount of food for us. The food came quickly and tasted great. As tourists (from the UK) it was a great place to visit and really good fun.

Wife and I went to Champys in East Ridge. We were sat down right away, it took the waitress over 5 minutes to come to the table. Once she arrived to the table we ordered tea, water, apple cider, beer, and fried jalapeños for an appetizer. She brought our tea and water pretty quick it took the Bert and apple cider about 10 minutes to get to the table. Once we had our drinks we ordered dinner. Dinner arrived seconds before appetizer. Told the waitress that the jalapeños were an appetizer that was suppose to come out before our dinner so we did not want them with dinner. She said she was sorry and she oils take them off our bill and took them away. We started to eat our dinner and discovered that the Mac and cheese I ordered and her green beans were not even lukewarm. The mash potatoes and gravy were lukewarm, the chicken was hot but that was it. Had to eat over halve my dinner without anything to drink and eat the mash potatoes and wife ate the green beans and her mash potatoes that were lukewarm because the waitress never came back to ask us how our food was. The macaroni and cheese were not eaten due to not being hot. When the bill came she stated that she took off the fried jalapeños, they were still on the bill. Had to her her to take them off because we never ate them. The waitress disappeared for a long time so we attempted to go to the front counter to pay and they advised that we had to pay through the waitress. No manager ever showed up to say they were sorry and the waitress never asked us how our dinner was. If you want to go to Champys I would advise going to the one on MLK next to UTC and stay far away from the one in East Ridge.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich. It was very, very good. The sausage, cheese, pickle, pepper appetizer place was really good too. The waitress was very nice. The service was good. I was told the tamales are excellent. I will have to try them next time. I will visit here again. The prices were reasonable as well.

The food was fabulous. My husband has the 3 piece dark meat and I had the catfish. It was really good and the waiters are really nice and personable. Would definitely recommend this place!

Tried Champy’s Fried Chicken for dinner. As the name suggests… a lot of chicken on the menu. Good food with very reasonable prices. Service was average at best. Little to no COVID protocols.

The service was good, the food was good. Was not expecting a surcharge for using a credit card. Probably won't return if we're back in the area due to the myriad of political comments posted on the walls.

Stopped into champy’s after a doctors appointment. My wife and I have eaten at many of their locations and really love their food. My wife got the chicken tenders with a double cole slaw. I got the two breast and one wing dinner with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. I told our waitress to tell the chef to really brown my chicken and they did. This place is awesome!

I had had chicken breast not that good Bisquick and gravy $650 for chicken breast $10.00 for Bisquick and gravy total 17.50 that is highway robery this shouldn't cost over 6.00 totals and the chicken wasn't that good I was so disappointed

We went here while on a weekend getaway to Chattanooga. This location was next to our hotel & within walking distance. They were super busy on a Friday night! There was a bit of a wait, but not too bad. The decor is fun & you can find all kinds of cool things to look at while you're waiting. Even though they were busy, our server was on point! Our food came out fresh & hot and was really good! (Fried chicken & baked beans) Prices were comparable to most other restaurants in the area and the vibe is fun and hip. They have some outdoor seating & a smoking area with a fire pit. I will go back when in the area.

We always love it there. We’ve been to all three locations in Tennessee. I do however think the prices are a little high…..

Came through on our way home and stopped for dinner. We sat outside on the Patio. Great atmosphere, food and service. Would definitely recommend
