Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Service was slow and inattentive. Got charged for an extra meal. Even though they screwed up the original order. Fried food was mediocre. You can’t taste the grease is old. Got none of the condiments I asked for. Had to stand at the kitchen to get what I needed.

Was seated and was not even acknowledged. After about 20 minutes and 3 others parties being seated and receiving their drinks, I went to the host stand and asked if our server could come over and get our drink order. When we FINALLy received our food, my food was lukewarm at best, the order was wrong and my daughter’s steak was not cooked as she requested. It took forever to even get our check. Will not be going back. Very disappointed.

For all of my natural life cracker barrel Hal always been known for its quaint and comfortable atmosphere however the recent remodel brings to mind the visage of hospitals, nursing homes, prisons and crematoriums. Nobody else here looked like they were having a good time.The food and service were ok but I will not be back based on atmosphere alone

Well myself and my husband were working and we ordered food for curb side pick up. We waited for a few to pick it up making sure the restaurant staff had everything together . They never came out to curb side pick up. My husband had to walk inside and was told the order wasn’t ready. This took well over 30 minutes at the restaurant waiting not including the 30 minutes when we ordered. .
We live maybe a mile from the restaurant so the food was brought straight home . We found everything was cold !!!! The sausage on his plate was raw not smoked but raw! His French toast was old , hard and cold . My meat loaf was so full of filler every bite I had to pick hard filler out of my mouth so after a few bites I was done . My plate of meatloaf potatoes corn bread and green beans totally cold ! 🥶 had biscuits and gravy cold as ice cream! Had a 5 chicken to go meal went in the trash with the rest of it ! Sad to see this place go down hill . Use to be my favorite meal .

I ordered the Louisiana style shrimp skillet served over rice and I’m sorry to say the grains of rice were hard and stale. The shrimp with creole sauce was delicious, but the hardened rice spoiled the dish for me. Very disappointed!
