Fatz Cafe - Elizabethton

Wish I could have tried the brunch, but they said they were unable. Calabash chicken was tasty. Waitress was attentive, but it took a long time for the food to get there. We were having a good time talking, so we didn't mind, but if we'd been in a hurry it might have been a problem.

The food was great. Everything was fresh and hot. If you go, ask for Jesse as your waiter. He was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.

I’ve lived in elizabethton for my whole life. Fatz used to be great, then it went down hill. Me and my husband went in on a Saturday around 12- it was not busy. We were seated by a nice lady. The table was beyond sticky- it was actually pretty gross- when asked if they were all like that- our waitress said it’s the cleaner they use. ?Our waitress was “Steph” she didn’t have a good attitude. They apparently don’t bring you rolls out anymore unless you ask, which was one of the reasons I liked going there. My husband got ribs- they came out fast but were ice cold. Two pounds of them were ice cold. He asked for an extra plate- she did not bring him one. It just was not a good experience and we will not be back. For the amount of $ we paid, we could go to somewhere much nicer.

Food really good. The crew is amazing. My only wish is that they would take the tails of the shrimp on the shrimp and grits. Makes it messy to eat with tails on. Update the breakfast is not worth going for. They even made me the wrong omelette. Too much cheese. And I love cheese. And when u order a omelette and add. Bacon u own it in the omelet not on side. They should stay with lunch and dinner

Absolutely awesome!! Service, food and place was everything you could ask for & more!!! (unfortunately I left my to go box?) But I'll be back for sure??

Had a very good waitress and food was amazing as always. Didn’t have to wait long for our food either!!!

I had the Ribs - tried a couple different sauces which were really good. Carolina Gold and Kentucky Bourbon sauces. Recommended by Amber. My wife had the Quesadilla Burger which was good. Also recommended by Amber. We have been here several times the past month or so. Ordered different things each time. Food is always good and we always have leftovers. Service was wonderful. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants - especially where here we always have leftovers to take with us and most places we don’t. (Please don’t take that to mean to cut portion size).

Parking: The place was fairly full, but we still had “up front” parking next to the handicapped spaces

Wheelchair accessibility: We didn’t need it but it appears to very accessible.

My sister and I are visiting from out of town and just had dinner here. I had the calabash chicken and she had country fried chicken. Both were delicious. Our waitress, Amber, was phenomenal! With it being our first visit, we had a lot of questions and she gave us recommendations. She was very attentive without being overbearing. We never had to ask for a refill. This is some of the best service we've received in awhile. We will definitely be back when we're in town again.

1st time visit to Fatz Cafe....our friends recommend that we try the all you can eat baby back ribs.....they were absolutely correct....super good and tasty fall off the bone delicious. Our server Sarah was very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to have the cafe manager Beth visit our table to make sure of our pleasure and opinion on our meal. Thanks for a wonderful meal....we highly recommend this restaurant and we'll be back.

Carolina BBQ platter was great! Pulled pork, baby back ribs and bbq chick all in a Carolina sauce. Bourbon bacon burger is huge! Better be starving. It’s great! Service was fast and friendly. Food was all prepared perfect and very good.

My husband took me here tonight for mother's Day. We had an awesome waitress. Her name was Kiki and had the biggest prettiest smile without even looking at the menu was able to offer us. Great suggestions! Our mail was awesome and the service was great. Thank you, Kiki

OMG!! That other chain has the baby back ribs jingle, but Fatz has the ribs baby!! I personally thought these were better on all points of comparison. What can be said about those rolls and cinnamon whipped butter other than get a refill!! All you can eat ribs is the bomb!!

I like this restaurant, and the people are really nice. They just don't pay attention to special requests. I asked for my roast to have the gravy on the side, and it didn't, of course. Everything else was good, but no to go silverware, and the Mac and cheese was hard/chewy. I should probably give it 3 stars, but I think they mean well. They just need to work on getting special requests right, not giving out things that have been sitting around for too long and making sure a to go order has everything.

Kid-friendliness: They have good options on the kids menu and have chairs etc. for little ones.

Parking: They go in a U shape around the building, so getting a spot 'close to the door' is easy from just about any spot. Plenty of parking and all flat.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables you can roll a wheelchair up to, and it's easy to get in from the parking lot.

My son took my mother and I to dinner here and it was so nice. We were seated quickly and our waitress was right there to get our orders. Everything was great except the sides were lack luster and you could definitely tell they were from a can. But all in all it was a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend this place!

Great variety of delish food. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable regarding the menu. Love the deserts.
