Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Tri-Cities. Salsa bar, huge restaurant and nicely decorated with great food. Even a woman who comes around to each table and will prepare you fresh guacamole. Can't say enough except if you haven't tried and you like Mexican, then you're missing out

Puerto Nuevo has some very good food. I haven’t ordered anything that I didn’t like. The Margaritas are very good as well, but if you order them on the rocks, they put a bunch of fruit in the glass, so I always ask them to keep their fruit out of my Margarita, and they don’t mind at all. Service has always been good, and while their prices seem a bit steep, it’s not too bad.

Salsa bar is awesome, choriqueso was the best I've ever had. Probably the best Mexican in the Tri-Cities. They need to put some dim bulbs in the table lights cuz it's lit up like crazy in there. 😭

Wow! Where do I start? The setup is great because they have a big room for large parties which makes the regular dining room more quiet and intimate. The food is outstanding! I got the number 8 combo, and I really enjoyed it. The service was top notch. Our server helped me choose what to order and made sure all 10 of us had everything we needed. I just wish I lived in the area and could dine there regularly. If you get the opportunity, go!

I can't express enough how great this place is! My fiance and I have been going here for over 2 years. We usually go here every Sunday after church. Even when it's really busy, the service doesn't lack. Recently they revamped the menu, and it's phenomenal! Even when I had a broken back and knee, they met us at the door and were very accommodating to my needs.

Excellent choice for Mexican food in the Elizabethton area. You'll never have to look for a waiter or waitress they're always near by if needed. Great choice for date night !
