Yesterday on my way from Cleveland to Fort Loudon, I stopped by the restaurant to get a quick bite to take with me. The ladies were so wonderful and gracious, and the food was mouth watering. I can say I haven't had a burger and fries that good in a very long time. The experience shouted pure Southern hospitality!! I was so glad I found this restaurant. ☺

This place is a real bonafide gem! What is their secrete? Anything you find on the menue they are willing to put in the hardwood hickory smoker in the parking lot! Smoke bologna sandwich? Smoked pimento cheese sandwich? Smoked barbecue brisket sandwich? Oh yes but the brisket was to put as Number One!!!

As a real estate agent with an office just two doors down, I can honestly say the smoky aroma drifting from Woods is both a blessing and a daily temptation! It’s my go-to spot for lunch meetings. Great food, friendly staff, and the kind of neighborhood gem that makes the area even more appealing to newcomers. Highly recommend stopping by—you’ll smell it before you see it.
Service was ok. Food was basic and nothing special. Overpriced for quality and amount. $10 for 5 tiny wings is robbery.
