Tried them again. But not at 9:30 since they are not really open at that time. Everything was well made, fast and delicious. Not a help at the table but he worked hard to keep everyone happy.

Absolutely disappointed with the service!Drove 20 minutes as first timers as we heard great things about this place. Only to be ignored at the host stand for 20 minutes without a single greeting.Total disregard for customers. Won't be back! Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Went to eat. Was told it was an hour wait since there were no tables for 2. This place had 1 table for 2 and open tables for 4 with 2 people in them. We left and a couple walked in behind us and was seated. Avoid this place is my recommendation since they choose who gets to be seated and who doesn’t.

Was just there last night with my wife. I got the katsu ramen and my wife got the pork katsu curry. I am already trying to think of an excuse to drive back out that way again.

Absolutely favorite Udon place in Knoxville, this place is hidden jam. I’ve been all over U.S and I’d have to say this place is in par with my fav Udon place in nyc! Love this place

It was an amazing experience from taking off our shoes and sitting at the table, to having unagi and most of all a lot of real Japanese food options. This place is definitely a hidden gem. BTW! The curry was really good! My husband and I shared it and man, I wanted to order another plate. Having lived in the west coast my whole life where there’s so many Japanese restaurants and people of decent, this one hits the spot. I’ve been having a hard time finding a place that isn’t sushi and Thai, which are completely opposite ends of Asia where the food is not even similar. Thank you for the experience and food!

The environment is on point. The food was delicious, I loved the tonkotsu Ramen specifically. The service was quick, very responsive, and they were very kind.

Food is okay. Lacked seasoning. Service is slow. We asked the waiter to give us a few minutes to look at the menu since it was our first time visiting but we wanted to order drinks while looking over the menu. He said they have a new rule and can only take the food and drink order at the same time. After waiting 30 minutes, we finally got our appetizer. My spouse got her meal about 5 minutes later and I received my meal about 10 minutes after hers. I told my spouse that I wished that I took some photos. The Yakisoba noodles looked like ramen noodles.

Never received our food because we waited 20 minutes for drinks that never came so we walked out. Never again. I tried to give it my own opinion and not listen to others who said service was bad but unfortunately they were correct. Also, the sushi chef was making sushi with his bare hands…

I’d like to start off by saying it’s not the servers fault. The poor boy was serving around 10+ tables by himself. The owner did nothing but make a couple rolls of sushi the entire 1.5-2 hours we were there and only helped the young man once. We were not sat for 10 minutes after arrival in a half empty restaurant. We sat for nearly 20 minutes and then the server took our order. We waited around 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. We were also told that we couldn’t order certain things because there were no clean dishes. I feel so sorry for the server. After another 20 minutes when we didn’t receive anything else or even an ETA we paid what we had received and left. I won’t be coming back.

I want to clarify beforehand that it is not the servers fault for anything that I mention in this review. In fact it all falls on the owner for not staffing the restaurant accordingly.I was really looking forward to eating here because the reviews of the food seemed great however when we first arrived there was no server to greet us and immediately set us down even though the restaurant was half empty. After waiting for 10 minutes we finally got sat down at a booth and then waited 20 more minutes for the waiter to take our orders. After our orders were taken we waited 40 more minutes for us to just receive our appetizer. As we were waiting people were starting to leave after finishing their meals and they didn't even have people to help to waiter clear tables. Not to mention I had ordered a hot Green Tea and they didn't even have teacups or a teapot clean for me to get hot tea. I have also seen some other reviews of the owner being racist and i do not tolerate that one bit. After everything I experienced tonight I will no longer be back and advise others to not waste their time or money here.
