Nice little restaurant on the Gainesboro Square with outdoor seating on fair weather days. The service was great and always friendly. Our party ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. We held a table for quite a while, but never felt rushed (we took care of the wait staff). The atmosphere is elegant funk with a touch of antique bliss.

Ambiance was like a diner which is fine if that's what you're expecting. Place was kinda dirty. Waiter was chill, not super inviting but not rude. Food was blah. Wouldn't return

Stopped in today due to discovering on Facebook. Food was outstanding! Love the fresh seafood. So much better than a chain restaurant. Service was great. Highly recommend & will be back even though about an hour drive for us.

I’m not sure if the owners have changed but the last 2 times we’ve eaten here we have been really disappointed. It’s an hour drive for us to get there and it’s always been well worth it. Our whole family felt it was the best food in the Upper Cumberland. But sadly, not anymore. We ordered the special last night, which was halibut. Two of us gad it grilled and one blackened. They were tiny, dry, and tasteless pieces of fish. Another member for the shrimp po boy which used to be huge and stuffed with shrimp and sadly, this was also lacking.

My wife and I heard about this place from family and decided to try it for a date night. It was an awesome experience! Our server Maggie was spectacular and really passionate when explaining items on the menu and giving recommendations. The food was phenomenal. The shrimp and andouille sausage dip was one of the best appetizers we have had at a restaurant. The fish and chips and red snapper were also top notch. Definitely worth the drive and look forward to visiting again!

I’m not sure what’s going on with the brunch, but I swear they seemingly change their hours weekly. I absolutely love every single thing I’ve ever gotten on the menu. However, driving down to Gainesboro to see a sign outside that says today’s brunch ends at 1 (when it was 3p on Google, then 2p on Google, now 1p on the sign) is disappointing. It’s hard to be a loyal customer when you never know what the hours are going to be.
