Great location. The grocery store was clean and well stocked. There is a large selection of vegan options - new and old favorites. Helpful and friendly staff.
Reposting: Photo of Judy Powell Judy Powell a minute ago Step up Whole Foods and try being a better neighbor. When Whole Foods built their Germantown Store, they built a substantial brick wall behind a home on Dogwood Road upon the request of many concerned neighbors that it backed into a elderly neighbor's backyard. Several months ago the wall was smashed. Since then the elderly homeowner has gotten no repair to the wall into her yard. Excuses included: "it's not our wall", "we did not think anyone lived there", we cannot find any matching brick", and it continues. Not one person from Whole Foods has ever contacted the homeowner despite many friends and neighbors trying to address this issue with the manager. There is also an issue of rats coming from the store into the elderly homeowner's yard. There was quite a load of promises, including a visit from the mayor, made to the homeowner when the store was being built, but as with many corporations...promises evaporate. This is not a small concern to this wonderful long time Germantown resident, her family, friends, and neighbors.
Coffee bar apparently closes daily @ 3 not 7.Hours aren't posted correctly :(Stopped by on our way home to Chicago, actually went out of the way, get there at 3:15.Closed!
The sore is easy to see from the street. Large parking area, handicap and amazon parking and drop box. The store has a sit and eat area. I find lots of vegan options. Fresh local produce. Hot and cold bar. Hot pizza. Floral area. Many hard to find specialty foods here also.
Good coffee and an inviting atmosphere
Great coffee and atmosphere
Really good selection and friendly service
Best coffee every had
We go here occasionally, usually for specialty or hard to find items. 9 times out of 10 they have them, and all the other things on your list (and tons NOT on your list) for higher prices. Fun to look, not as fun to buy.
This could be a great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner but these are retail people and not restaurant people and the lack of restaurant experience is very obvious. This facility is well maintained from the parking lot, sidewalks, restrooms, motorized carts BUT the food is allowed to sit until it’s sold! Obviously there is no adherence to holding times. The food is seldom replenished and I saw a fly crawling on the tofu. No one was responsible for maintaining the hot food bar or the salad bar. A guy was in the pizza area with a long beard and did not have a cover. He looked unsanitary. The same issues but only worse at the location in Memphis on Poplar Ave. upper management must hire a restaurant person with a restaurant operational experience to develop policies and procedures to maintain food quality. At $8.99 per pound the food is not cheap so I expect much better quality. The lunch selection is much better than the dinner choices. The dinner selection is half the lunch choices. (Look at the fly on the tofu. You may have to enlarge the photo)
