Chicken Salad Chick

I ordered takeout around 7:32 PM on 11/1/25. I found a spoiled grape in my fruit — brown and black inside, with the skin slipping off when wiped. It completely killed my appetite. I didn’t touch the other grapes or strawberries because I couldn’t tell what was safe to eat. My sandwich box also came with untoasted croissants instead of the toasted wheat bread I selected.

On top of that, a red-headed man in a red shirt — possibly a manager or cook — kept staring at me. When I asked if there was a reason, he smirked and brushed it off. When someone is more focused on posturing than performing, it always shows. Real professionals don’t need to intimidate; they let the quality of their work speak for them. In this case, it’s almost symbolic — the spoiled grape says more about their misplaced priorities than any words could. They had time to stare, but not to check the food. Between the spoiled fruit, wrong order, and unprofessional behavior, the whole experience was uncomfortable and disappointing. It’s hard enough to deal with being stared down or made uncomfortable, but when the food itself doesn’t meet basic standards, it just adds insult to injury. You deserve to eat somewhere that gives both respect and quality. For the same price, McAlister’s offers friendlier service and food you can trust.

The chicken salad was bland and boring (Fancy Nancy). It didn't have any flavor.

Service and place overall was great, went with my wife and she got a apple cranberry blt and I got the buffalo sand which, price is good , food was missing some flavor and tasted like it was from days ago, I think I would come back but probably try something new ,

Great spot for a quick and tasty meal. The food has been good the handful of times that we have ate here. I love the grape salad and broccoli salad!

Clean nice atmosphere trying new menu item. Will follow-up once I get home. This location always gets it right. Can't wait to try new menu item Maui Mama with pineapple, bacon, and jalapeños.

I enjoyed the chicken salad. I had the basic chicken salad on a salad with ranch. It was good except for the cucumbers. They were really bitter. The pickle was excellent. Parking was insane. I had to park at Trader Joe's. I'll be back next time I want chicken salad and don't want to make it myself.

Poorly run

I love the Buffalo Barclay, on sandwich or with crackers. Either way you cannot go wrong. Service was quick. It didn’t take long. The staff were friendly, smiling and helpful. I will be Back😁😁😁

Clean and service was good. The chicken salad was dry and definitely could have used more mayo. The Broccoli Cheese soup was tasty.

Upon visiting the establishment following my workout, I ordered a BLT sandwich for the first time. Regrettably, my experience was marred by interaction with an employee named Stacy, who exhibited unfriendliness. Despite clearly specifying "NO TOMATOES," the sandwich I received contained tomatoes. I perceived an unwarranted change in her demeanor when inquiring about the side menu, notwithstanding the fact that it was my inaugural visit.

Food and service has always been very good. However, today I drove an hour to get my food and didn’t get my CHICKEN SALAD. Very disappointed honestly.
