El Porton is a hidden gem and has exemplary customer service, flavorful drinks and authentic food choices.

I get ceviche from here often. It is so fresh and good, both kinds.. I highly recommend.

I came here for lunch with family, and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. We were the first ones there, got there at opening. The restaurant felt dark, dingy, and honestly a little dirty. I had that uneasy feeling walking in.

We started with queso, which was actually the highlight of the meal. The flavor was good, and the chips and salsa were solid. That was the only positive.

For our entrées, I ordered the fajitas and my husband and FIL got enchiladas. Both were very run-of-the-mill — nothing special — but what really concerned me was the temperature. The food came out lukewarm, not hot. That’s never a good sign.

The biggest issue was the beans. I took one bite and immediately spit them into my napkin. They had a distinctly off, spoiled taste. I’m very familiar with Mexican food and know when something isn’t right. My group continued eating theirs, but I refused to touch the beans, rice, or guacamole after that. I only ate some of the fajitas.

The staff seemed half-asleep and not particularly friendly. After we paid, I told the waiter the beans tasted spoiled. He didn’t seem concerned at all — just said he’d tell the cook, with zero urgency or follow-up.

Overall, I left feeling uneasy about the food quality and cleanliness. If anyone gets sick after eating here, I wouldn’t be surprised. March 1st

Or party of 9 was seated in an upstairs area that was more of a storage area than a dining area it seemed. Very cluttered and not really clean. But they were busy and this was all they had. Our waiter was above average, tried his best. Good came out at different times. Which wouldn't have been a huge issue but my wife was the last to get her food and it was cold. Our check was incorrect, billed for more beers than we actually had but they corrected it without issue. Aside from the food coming out at one time and hot.... my fish was very good, hot and the portion was plenty. May have just been a bad night for a large party. I would def give it another visit.

This restaurant was the most amazing experience I've had in my entire mortal life. Forever will this establishment have a place in my heart. The food made my sadness fade and the server made my day, if not my year. Thank you!

Ordered a simple meal for me and my co worker. I had tacos, he had soup. I didnt receive my food. They have a tendency to give drivers the wrong food and allow drivers to grab other orders that aren’t theirs. As a latino im telling yall this is a horribly managed establishment. Food I received was cold

El Porton has always been average, but average is good enough in our mediocre society. Recently, service and quality of food is sub par; it begs the question; does this business only exist to fulfill a tax write off? They don't seem to have enough customers to support a viable business.

Excellent menu. Excellent food. Fast service. Great all around. A robot will bring your food to the table which is super cool.
