I didn’t even get a picture bc I was so ready to eat it lolI was not expecting such a large coffee for that price!! Amazing!

I always try local as much as possible. Have been in and out over the years. But coffee is weak. Almost tea-like.

Great place for takeout but has went downhill from what I remember it as a child on the inside. Definitely not a nice deli vibe to sit in unless you go on the patio outside the chaotic boxes and disorganization inside. Food and sandwiches are great though.

I love this place so much I wish it would be open Sundays. We frequent it for brunch... which they serve till 11am on Saturday. We always get the same thing... hubs gets lox and bagel .... Which is ginormous! I get the breakfast burrito. I love taking it home and adding sour cream and avo. Love love the service here, fresh quality, and portion sizes. Great business!

I really wanted to love this place as it is locally owned and very convenient to walk to. That said, sadly, based on our three visits, this is one of of the most overrated places in Germantown. Put another way, this place is probably great for the average Germantown palette, but pales against really good coffee and breakfast places. The coffee drinks are average at best and not nearly to the quality you can find in other places such as City & State, Belltower, Comeback and Jo-Jo's, for example. Frankly, if I can make a better latte at home it is not worth buying one there. The breakfast burrito was bland and the pastries just average. Full disclosure: while we have been there three times, it has been over three years since our last visit.Again, I really wish I could rate this place higher, and make it a regular stop, but the ratings given are not indicative of the quality we experienced. That said, your results may vary and you should try for yourself to make up your own mind as I think locally owned business deserve our support. I may return for another visit to see if things have changed and if so I will adjust my review.

Went for breakfast, the food was good and at a fair price. The employees were courteous and more than helpful.

Good for a quick breakfast. I always keep it classic and they make my eggs just right (Medium plus). Staff is friendly. I prefer to dine on the sidewalk as the inside is pretty tiny.

My family and I have driven by this cafe numerous times over the past several years. An errand took me to the area, I wasn't in a particular hurry, the Yelp reviews were pretty decent, and so I thought that I'd drop in to pickup an early lunch to take home. The lunch special was a chicken quesadilla with a side item. I decided on the pasta as a side. Both were delicious, and well-prepared. If available, I would order both again. I decided to also get a reuben with extra sauerkraut. The sandwich was rather small for the price. If there was extra sauerkraut, I couldn't tell. The meat was chewy and had a slight amount of gristle in it. At least the rye bread was fresh and flavorful. I chose "cucumbers" as the side item. That consisted of a tasty tomato/cucumber/cheese/sweet dressing mix. Too bad that this eatery doesn't bother to remove the stems from the tomatoes. (When I worked in a restaurant many years ago, that was de rigueur.) I would probably not order either again. The ordering process was disjointed. I believe that there were at least two new employees there, trying to get their footing. There were four people behind the counter, and I was the sole customer inside. I think that the manager and chef were the only productive employees, as it took some time for me to get my food. If you want iced coffee, they put ice into your container, and then they instruct you to pump hot coffee from their self-serve containers in the dining area! I won't make that mistake ever again. (I'm guessing that it's highly unlikely that they keep ice cubes made of coffee on-hand.) There's limited outdoor seating located in front of the entrance. If you enjoy the ambiance of a parking lot and adjacent busy roadway, knock yourself out. This was my very first visit here, and it was a bit underwhelming. All in all, three-and-a-half stars, rounded down to three stars. I like supporting independent businesses, so I might return again, if only just to try other menu items. Be aware that each sandwich and side will set you back about $15.00. The total for my order was over $35.00, including tax.

This place should be open all day !! I'm always sad when I get off work at 3 and they're already closed because their sandwiches are so good and I just love that they give you a full size water. They are friendly and make some great food!

The owners and staff are wonderful. The French toast is very delicious. My daughter is extremely picky but loves the French toast at Java. My favorite meal there is the Spa Salad. Great summer go to, chicken, strawberries and a light dressing. YUM! So very good!

Saugage was not very good, eggs over cooked toast was dry, no grits or hash browns. will not be going back any time soon.
