I almost skipped over this place when making a reservation, and I’m really glad I didn’t. The atmosphere is easily a 5 out of 5. I actually enjoyed it more than Flight or Southern Social—the smaller, more intimate setting made it feel relaxed and welcoming rather than crowded or loud.
Wyatt, was a great server and the entire staff was attentive to our experience this evening.

Tha restaurant came highly recommended by many friends. And I must say… they were so on the money. The atmosphere is great, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. My wife had the salmon and commented “you must taste how good salon is supposed to taste.” I had the linguine with rabbit ragu and it was soooooo good. And the drinks were VERY well made. We have added it to our list of our regular go to’s. Thank you to everyone for a great evening.

Our group had a poor experience with the Limelight staff. We were a 6 top with 7PM reservation on a Saturday, seated at the community table in the bar. The service started out slow but we were in no rush so thought nothing of it. After getting drinks our server told us we were being too loud and need to tone it down. We had a member of our party who has a loud voice that carries, but in no way was our party belligerent. We thought this was odd but brushed it off and went about our meal. The food came out relatively slow throughout, but this didn't bother us. The food was delicious, albeit everyone thought a bit salty. It was about 9PM by the time our meal was coming to a close, and a separate employee, we believe a manager, came over and again told our group we needed to be quiet. We were completely taken aback because the bar area was now empty, save for one couple at the bar. Our group felt that this was incredibly rude and unwarranted. We were a group of friends who hadn't seen each other in months and were enjoying a meal and catching up, no one should ever be made to feel the way we did by the Limelight staff. I am sure Limelight will respond to this review saying our group was out of control but this is NOT the case. We even made a point to ask the group next to us at the community table if we were disturbing them or being so loud that it warranted the Limelight staff telling us to tone it down and they told us we were fine, just having a good time catching up with one another. My advice to Limelight is if there's a similar situation where THEY feel that a group is too loud for THEIR liking, move them to a different part of the restaurant, maybe not in the middle of the bar.... The way they handled the situation was not how a company in the hospitality business should have. Our group dropped $1k after tip (which despite being treated this way, we still tipped fairly) and should not have been treated the way we did. We will not be returning and will urge others with larger parties looking for warm fellowship to take your business elsewhere.

Server great. Drinks good. Food 5/10.
Undercooked chicken. Dry steak. $52 lamb chop that is only two bites. Not kidding. No sides. Complained to server. Manager offered another “2” lollipops of lamb. But never came to the table. Asked the server why the “GM” paced our table but never came by he then comes over and has nothing to say. Other than it looks like your part had a good time. (Correct. The wine and your sever semi saved dinner with our party).
Suggestions….Chef absolutely unqualified for this level. GM absolutely needs a career change and maybe a class on etiquette and people skills.
Absolutely suggest any other restaurant in town. Even Chinese takeout. Absolutely will save you a bundle and an ordeal with this over hyped restaurant that over charges.
Again….servers and back of the house were fantastic. Especially our server Liz.
The GM and Chef….not good at all. Not even worth rating.

The food and drinks were very good. I did notice the bartender seemed under the weather and was coughing quite a bit without much hand hygiene. It made me a little uneasy since it was close to the drinks and food. Just wanted to share this in case it’s helpful.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time here celebrating our 2 years anniversary!!! Piper did such a phenomenal job as our server! She was engaging, knowledgeable about the menu, guided us through our options wonderfully, checked in about every course, and even brought us complimentary drinks to celebrate! We had such a great time! The food was wonderful and came out quickly, our waters were never below 3/4 full, empty dishes were cleared quickly and there was always something on the table! We will definitely be returning!

Disappointed by Parking and Safety Concerns
I made reservations on 10/21 for two and arrived first, but the parking situation was terrible. I went inside to ask the host if there was more parking available for my date, and she told me we could park across busy Poplar Pike at the park. I asked if I could temporarily hold my spot with a cone so I could pick up my date, but the host said I should just let her park there and that I could walk from the park instead.
I followed her suggestion and walked from the park, but the traffic on Poplar Pike was so heavy that I almost got hit trying to cross the street. That was a huge red flag. I ended up calling my date and choosing a different restaurant that had a safer and more convenient parking setup.
Great restaurants should consider both food and guest safety. This experience really put a damper on what should’ve been a nice evening.
