For a weekend hangout, my friend and I decided to try Mellow Mushroom. The restaurant wasn’t that busy, so we were able to get seated at a table quickly. After being seated at our table, I began to notice the design on the table and the various designs scattered throughout the place. For appetizers, we ordered the cheese bread. The cheese bread was amazing and a good way to kick off our lunch. For our main dishes, my friend ordered the smash burger, and I ordered a half-and-half pizza. For the half-and-half pizza, one half was the Mighty Meaty Pizza, and the other half was the Funky Q Chicken pizza. My friend told me that her Smashburger was good and perfectly seasoned. For the Mighty Meaty Pizza half, all the flavors with the pepperoni, bacon, Italian Sausage, and ham just blended amazingly together. For the Funky Q Chicken pizza half, it was good as well, especially with the BBQ sauce, but the only criticism I have with it is that I really didn’t taste much of the chicken or bacon on it. I wish that I could remember our waitress's name; she was super amazing.

Love the atmosphere of this place! All of the pizzas and appetizers are made to order, you can literally see them in the back throwing pizza dough up in the air. You’re not gonna get freshly made quality food like that in most restaurants anymore, a lot of places use frozen and prepackaged food at the convince of being fast… here it’s definitely worth the wait. Love the service too, the waitresses are always super friendly and easy to talk to

Great atmosphere, cold draft beer, enjoyed a custom pizza while watching the Sunday Football Game. Service was great and I loved the new design of the menus and art work around the restaraunt.

Average pizza, nothing special. House salad had rotten lettuce in it. Service was slow. I won’t be going back.

The pizza was very overpriced for the quality. Dont get me wrong it wasn’t bad but nothing to write home about. Bartender was somewhat nice.

Our family has loved MM for many years, with the delicious and creative pizza choices, and a eclectic atmosphere. This location is particularly great because there's a nice patio outside and it's not on the side of a highway so it's very enjoyable. When our pies arrived they were hot and good. The only downside to this restaurant is Door Dash and takeout. These take priority over customers, and we (and everyone else there eating onsite) had about a 45 minute wait. On the patio we watched a nonstop stream of doordash drivers picking up food. The management needs to figure out a way to handle this without neglecting the visiting customers.

Hard to evaluate because the experience tonight was so different from what we normally expect from Mellow Mushroom.

1st - Our waitress definitely did not want to be here tonight
2nd - We had to ask for clean plates twice (how can you not see the baked on food pieces...?)
3rd - We expect a long wait time, I mean, they are baking fresh pizzas. So, I came early and ordered 30 minutes before my husband arrived. The salad came out just before he sat down. The pizza came out over 30 mins later.
4th - The pizza came out luke warm / just above room temperature and the canzone was under-baked / soggy on the bottom.
5th - Several tables around us also complained about the timing and quality :(

So, an hour later we were served mediocre food by someone who seemingly hated us. Definitely not an experience we want to repeat. Really disappointed.

Pizza was ready when I arrived. I was shown pizza and asked if all was good. Staff was friendly from when I walked in to when I left. I only hope you’ll open closer to Oakland. Mimi’s my favorite but 45 minutes away.
