We love it every single time. Food is exceptional & service is unbelievable. Very friendly & professional staff. We appreciate the quality in everything. Frozen espresso martini is my fave. Hats off to the bartender. Always my go-to when visiting from Toronto Canada. See you again soon.

Moondance Grill is a must-visit in Germantown! The food is incredible, but the real secret is asking for Kwesi—the nonchalant dreadhead working as an expo. He doesn’t use gloves, but somehow that makes the food even better. Flavors are on point every time. 10/10, highly recommend!

I've only been to Moondance once for my god-mom's birthday, and we had a very nice experience. Our waitress was super friendly and recommended my picky eater god-mom a dish that she loved. My favorite thing was the bread pudding! It's absolutely to die for!

Me and my guest got two appetizers and two main dishes. Everything tasted amazing. The waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant it self was beautiful, with a great vibe. I will definitely be going back again!

The atmosphere and food was great. We celebrated 2 of my nieces' birthdays. The food was worth the cost.

The ambiance and service were great. However the food was mid. The chargrilled oysters were barely warm and were so rubbery they couldn’t be chewed. The filet didn’t have much flavor and was not as tender as I would have liked. The best dishes we had that evening were the side spinach and the shrimp appetizer. The cornbread was amazing also.

Loved the service and atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation for dinner or you'll need to hope for seating at the bar. Other reviews mention a dress code, and I did receive a text about it after making a reservation. The dress code is not strict, leans more toward casual dressy, so no need to really complain. Our steaks were good, cooked and seasoned perfectly and didn't take long to come out. We didn't like that the steak knives didn't come out with our plates, and for dessert, spoons didn't come out with the brownie and ice cream. We had to ask both times. Also, I would recommend they shorten the cook time on the brownie for it to be more moist. Overall, the cocktails we had were good and strong, we loved the ambiance, and our server was a pleasure. Hubby stated the urinal walls needed to be cleaned.

Lunch yesterday with reservations. Took 50 minutes to get a flat bread and it was doughy…not done. We were told the order lot lost in the kitchen. Server was unconcerned and dining manager came over to apologize. We have eaten there many times but sorry to say you have lost a longtime customer. The restaurant has suffered with changes in chefs and poor service. Ps….telling me the coffee was fresh when it obviously was not as cream did not change the color

Been to Moondance several times (usually for dinner) when I'm in Memphis visiting family. This was the first time for lunch. I got the lettuce wraps which were exceptional. However, my mother got French onion soup, which had no bread or cheese in it. Maybe that's common somewhere, but very disappointing for her. For dessert, she ordered the bread pudding. They were out of the bourbon sauce which was okay for her since she doesn't like it. However, they pudding was so dry that it made it impossible to eat. We'll probably give the restaurant another chance, however, it will probably be only for dinner.

I have read many great reviews about this Restaurant, unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The spinach dip, which was an appetizer was cold, it was replaced however with a hotter dish. When my dinner was brought to the table, it was delicious, up until abt the 3rd bite, I saw a long straight hair wrapped around the green beans. In disgust, I showed it to the waiter, and he took the dish away. I wasn't ask if I wanted something else, nor was an apology given. As my guest nibbled on their meal, the waiter returned and ask us with an energetic voice, "are we still good?" What sort of question is that after finding someone's hair mangled in your food?! The charge was removed and we happily left afterwards. Needless to say, this place is underwhelming in comparison to what is being served and I frequent many fine dining restaurants within the city and in other states, sadly, this establishment is not Fine dining.

So this was my first time here. My sister lives here and planned a dinner for us to enjoy after my flight landed. She made a reservation for 8pm, but upon arrival, we were told they were behind on the reservations.
The restaurant is nice and has a very fun adult vibe. There was a pianist playing and singing songs. The fireplace was lit. The bar was full.
After waiting for 40 minutes, we were seated. They sat us at a high top table at the bar, which was nice. Brock was our server. He is the cutest and was very attentive. After waiting so long, it was a pleasure to get such great service.
Food: Spinach dip is a no for us! Don't order it. The Maple Glazed Salmon was PERFECT!! The Lamb Chops were amazing as well (per my sister because by now, yall know I don't eat red meat).
Reservations are highly recommended, but I guess it doesn't matter....I would definitely go back, but maybe when they first open.
Brock gets a 5, and so does the Salmon!!!!!

My wife and I went to moon dance on a whim after our preferred location was overcrowded. I was personally a little skeptical as I am with most expensive places, but with Moondance you definitely get what you pay for! We got seated at the bar which is never our preference but the service of the bar staff was outstanding. We generally get lost in the shuffle if we’re at the bar but the bartenders were very attentive and the food was much quicker than expected!
