Everything was excellent! We ordered the new york strip, filet, Brussels sprouts, bacon gouda fondue, the upside down, and a riesling. We would highly recommend and are looking forward to coming back in the future.

The service was superb, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and crafted with such attention to detail. What made the evening even more memorable was our celebration of my mother. I noted that it was her 70th birthday and our first celebration since the passing of my father. The team customized the menus to highlight her milestone birthday, and she was genuinely delighted. It was the perfect night for us, not too loud, just the right atmosphere to celebrate her while remembering my father. Thank you to the entire staff, team, and especially our waitress ; she was warm, attentive, and truly excellent.. We will definitely be back.

We love the atmosphere at Southern Social! This past visit was a little bit less wonderful than usual though because my steak was almost room temperature and it seemed like it may have been sitting and waiting for my husband's lasagna to finish. The steak presentation is a little odd since it comes alone on a plate with a half of a tomato. That's not new, but I usually don't leave a review so I thought since I was, I would mention it.  the only other thing seems silly to complain about, but it was our anniversary and they brought us two glasses of Prosecco and two chocolate covered strawberries, which was such a lovely gesture, but the timing was odd because it came after our appetizer and before our entrées. Would have been a little better at the end of the meal. It's still one of our favorite places though, and we will be back. Thank you!

Thank you for another outstanding experience. Grayson at the bar made the perfect drinks for us. Our waiter Gary was always on top of everything. These folks make the best steak. And the loaded mashed potatoes were amazing. Thanks for everything Southern Social

A fine restaurant with excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Loved having birthday dessert free. We ate outdoors on a perfect night but know that heaters will be there for cooler nights. I'm surprised more customers don't eat outdoors on beautiful evenings.

The food was delicious. The meatloaf and shrimp and grits were both outstanding. Our only complaint was that we were seated on a patio close to the street and train tracks. If we had been seated inside or on the back patio, our meal would have been perfect. I didn't see a way to choose inside or outside seating when I made the reservation. Since we were dining prior to a concert, my time choices were limited.so I took the one recommended by Open Table. Upon arrival, I think there were other tables/times available.

We had a 4pm reservation and arrived at 3:50pm to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. The valet was not yet open, so we had to find our own parking. This was after the restaurant had called specifically and left a message that they offered free valet. Then, we had to stand in the parking lot with several other couples waiting for the restaurant to open, they certaintly were not prepared for the 4pm reservations several couples had made. We then had to wait approximately 10 minutes in the hallway before someone would seat us. There was no bread available prior to the meal as it was not yet ready in the kitchen (another sign the restaurant was not ready for the 4pm reservation). When our meals came out, our side, sweet potato casserole was not ready. Our server told us it would be about 2 more minutes. When the sweet potato casserole arrived to the table, it was cold. The food was good, but nothing was remarkable or special for the price. This is the second time we have eaten at Southern Social. We will not be returning. We can spend $250 on a meal elsewhere and be made to feel special. We were made to feel like the restaurant was not ready for a 4pm start, even though they had several couples like us, who had reservations for that time.
