Went here for my birthday and it was an exceptional experience! They really treat you like royalty and the food was fabulous! The ambiance is so fun but also has an intimate feel, despite how busy it is. They personalized the menu for my birthday and brought out a dessert! Can’t say enough good about the whole experience!

I came to town to visit some family. Was brought to Southern Social as a treat.The staff were terrifically personable and attentive. Our server Isaac, is clearly an ace at his craft, recommending the special and an excellent whiskey flight including the barrel select from a local distiller, which was amazing.Also, best carrot cake I have ever had!

The restaurant was beautiful. We were greeted promptly, and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, my shrimp and grits did not taste good. Neither had individual flavoring. There was a sauce, but it had a vinegar taste to it that was not appetizing - it was not southern or Cajun. The price was fairly high for the value.
food was outstanding and the service was awesome. absolutely enjoyed the fact we weren't rushed to eat our appetiser before our entree came out. Alcoholic drink prices were a little high but expected. but we're definitely going to be back again!

The ladies at the front entrance quickly found the reservation made for my father's 65th birthday. Caitlin was our server. She came prepared, she was professional, sweet, and she knew the menu well. Her timing for taking our orders was great, and the orders we placed came out exactly as we requested, all on a busy Thursday evening. Also, because of her and the other staff, we never found ourselves waiting for assistance or low on water. One of the managers, Chelsea, came to our table to check and make sure we were enjoying our experience.For my father's birthday, Southern Social went above and beyond to surprise us with customized menus for the table and brought out complimentary dessert with a birthday candle. We could not have asked for a better dining experience. This was my father's first visit to Southern Social, and it is safe to say he is now a raving fan!
My signature was the butt end of the loin so it wasn't close to the standard hockey puck in shape. The outside was in the burnt side so it was hard to cut and chew. The sweet potato casserole was dry and loaded with nuts. That might be normal, it's just not that good. My wife's shrimp and grits was excellent. The ownership contacted me and addressed my concerns and right. I look forward to dining there soon.

Everything was delicious! I could have made a meal with just the deviled eggs & crispy gulf oysters and the fried pimento cheese sandwiches. Great birthday meal for the wife and our fam. We could have used a little more AC, it was a little hot in the dining room where we were seated.

The crème brûlée makes your eyes roll in the back of your head. I have been several times for several different occasions and they never disappoint. The great service is one of their greatest assets.
