This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are a good size with everything you need (iron, ironing board, TV, hairdryer etc…), and it is spotlessly clean with a friendly atmosphere. Recently renovated, the rooms and hotel spaces are contemporary, modern and fresh. Cody who works at the hotel is a real asset to the business, he truly went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable and provided us with the highest level of service and professionalism, something that is hard to find. He made us feel so welcome we have continued to come back. The hotel bar provides a good selection of food and drinks and the free secure parking is great. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s 5* service ?

Claire and the staff are great! The hotel is clean and the service is very good. It is a good location. Centrally located in the Germantown area. And they have a Starbucks in the lobby. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to the Memphis area.

DeVonna and Kody were so helpful with everything we needed. They were cheerful and very pleasant while finding extra blankets and towels for our very large group. Thank you for the happy experience and wonderful attitudes!!

Almost the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Locks ripped off doors, dirty shower and sink, hair everywhere…. It was one of the most terrible out of town experiences that I have ever had. This place really needs to get it together

We stayed in room 223 and it was obviously a smoking room. We moved to room 217 and found dirty towels. And the heater would not work. There was also a plunger in the bathroom. Not a good sign. There is no complementary coffee. And I’m still waiting to see if they will reduce the rate. We paid $200 for one night at this hotel. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to the holiday inn stay bridge. Same price. Free breakfast. And even a kitchen in your room.

I’ve only reached Titanium for Life with Marriott Bonvoy. I get I still need to pay my dues. I believe that’s 750 nights over 12 years to reach that status? In 12 years and 750 nights, I’ve found the worst Marriott property. Memphis Courtyard on Germantown Road.

We just stayed for one night, but we weren't impressed. It's seriously dated and needs major repairs in some areas. Bathroom tile was crumbling, there was mold on the ceiling, and the sofa bed was so bad. The cord to our phone was missing and housekeeping hadn't cleared the previous guests soap from the shower. We love Marriott, but this one wasn't up to their normal standards. Choose another hotel!

Chelsea and Autumn were absolutely incredible! My family had a huge emergency and we had went to two hotels before arriving at Courtyard Germantown. We were turned away from the other hotels but Autumn took us in with open arms! The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. Again, thank you Autumn and Chelsea for everything. - Hardy:)

COVID has certainly changed travel. This property seemed to be doing everything properly. As others have said, the property could use a property improvement project but, other than cosmetics there were no major issues. We stayed a number of days. Lots of restaurants near by with take out options. So, the decor and general appearance was average but service and accommodations were very good.

This location is well behind in the look and quality of most any Courtyard in which I’ve stayed. The location is not ideal for a hotel like this as it’s not really near an interstate or any areas of general interest. Road noise is an issue on the first floor. Cleanliness could be better, but it’s ok.

This hotel isn't close to and really needs some updating. I heard a LOT of road noise during my stay, even though the street wasn't very busy. This is what happens when the windows get old and the seals fail...can't help but hope you've got a white noise app on your phone. The staff I encountered were very nice, though. They went out of their way to be friendly and accomodating. A lot of restaurants are located a short drive away.

This is a long one so bare with me- short version is avoid this place if you’re remotely interested in professionalism or proper customer service. Spend the extra few dollars and go to a better property down the road. I’m making it a point to post a review while literally in the middle of driving across the country to relocate because this is worth sharing in hopes others avoid this property and a bad experience. . Last night after a 12 hour drive I arrived to check in. Nicely greeted at the front desk and then asked for my information, normal check in. I had however booked under the friends and family rate as my significant other is a Marriott employee, saving about $30 from the regular rate, but hey I’ll take a savings when presented. I was asked for the form, which some properties ask for and others do not. I didn’t have it with me at the moment and asked if I could have him email it, they said yes. Only issue was his property works differently and their HR department has to send the form, which they were closed. He said he could just do the booking under his employee log in, send the confirmation to the hotel and his employee information. I was told this was acceptable. However, when they found out he was not yet at the property with me to check in the tone completely changed. Easy fix as he can call in, advise he did the booking and provide authorization I can check in—- wrong. Now I was advised not only could I not check into my original reservation under the employee rate but I could not check into the one my partner made as well and neither of us could cancel or we’d be charged for each reservation. What? Continuing the nightmare that is the front desk of the courtyard Marriot, a lovely(sarcastic) employee named Danielle proceeded to not only be completely unprofessional and argue with myself as well as my partner over the phone in a truly disrespectful almost embarrassing attitude and tone, while standing in front of her watching her speak to my partner she slammed the phone down mid conversation and yelled out loud while other guests were in the lobby that she was done with the call and needed to switch with her colleague. Keep in mind she didn’t even give the coworker the decency or heads up about what the call was even about so the conversation that was already 20 minutes in now needed to be restarted. She again advised both reservations will be charged even though they wouldn’t let me stay at the property under that rate while speaking in the tone you would to a child. Eventually I decided to stop trying to get them to understand how I too have worked front desk and not only managed hotels but am in the travel business with American Express and typically deal with more upscale properties. I am fully aware any reservation especially one made 10 minutes prior can be cancelled out free of charge without an argument or issue. To this she had a less than friendly response yet again saying that is not possible. So apparently either the employees are not properly trained at this property, their management doesn’t think they’re capable of learning the system so they were not fully taught how to fix existing reservations on their GDS, or she just felt like belittling a potential guest was the best route to go.. I’m going to guess a bit of all three. We will both be disputing any charges from this hotel. Honestly felt I should’ve been the one being paid for that encounter, it was a joke. No bookings will be done here for any of my clients at this property and I will make sure to share the review in as many outlets as possible. No one needs to be hassled like that. Skip this property, go 15 minutes down the road to Hyatt Place where they have a professional staff who know how to speak to guests like an actual human and paying customer. If you’ve lasted this long reading this review, you’re a champ and have been warned.

I am a Marriott platinum elite. So that means I stay in a LOT of hotels. This may be the worst I have ever stayed. I really think there is mold and maybe even black mold in the room I stayed. The smell was awful when I walked in and quickly I noticed the ceiling was ashy looking and had really dark spots of what I think was mold. The carpet felt damp. Not sure what is going on at this property but absolutely not to Marriott standards. Will never stay here again as there are too many other options. The staff was pleasant enough but that does not make up for how uncomfortable I was staying in such a dumpy room.

This hotel was fine for our purposes--weekend accommodations for a wedding. But the room was a bit cramped and the bathroom floor plan was very awkward. We paid an extra $5 when we reserved the room so we'd have breakfast included. That's a really good deal! It's a made-to-order breakfast, much nicer than the usual included breakfast.
