I decided to stop in at Vanelli's for a quick sandwich on a weekday. The restaurant seems very clean and the one staff member I interacted with was friendly. Its a family owned business.\n\nI ordered a chicken salad sandwich, a small side of pasta salad and small iced tea. Total was about $14 and was also served with chips..The pasta salad was delicious. The chicken salad was okay, but the croissant seemed stale tasting. I ended up just eating the chicken salad with a fork....
I called and placed the order. I was very detailed in my order including chips and drinks. When my husband picked it up, they only gave him the sandwiches which cost way too much especially when all I tasted was bread and cheese. There was barely any meat. They asked if he wanted any extras and he said no assuming they put in the bag what I said over the phone. He went out noticed those things were missing and went back in.
