Las Palmas Mexican Restaurante

Always fantastic.

I placed a carry-out order. The gentleman was very nice on the phone and diligent about my order being correct. However, the food was not good at all. Not what I was hoping for considering the “Las Palmas” name. I will not be back!!! Highly disappointed!!! I thought maybe the area is why it was so slow on a Saturday evening, but nope ITS THE FOOD!

If I could give a 4.5 I would. Las Palmas is a fine Mexican restaurant. The food was good, the service was great, the atmosphere was typical. If I was in the area I would be happy to stop here for lunch.
I don't want to talk bad about this restaurant because nothing was wrong, it just didn't stand out.
The prices were very reasonable.

We were seated quickly, no surprise because they weren't very busy. It's a typical Mexican restaurant. If you are a veggie lover do not eat here. I ordered the chicken soup which was ok, but they charged $4 for a plate of steamed broccoli and cauliflower making my $8 soup more like $12. The chips sucked. And it took over twenty minutes to get food. I love the Las Palmas in Antioch. Not this one.

95° outside and the air conditioner is only halfway working. And of course they don't give you any warning sign to let you know so when you walk in the door, your breath is taken away Not having a waitress that speaks English is a big turnoff.
I won't be back there for a while

The food is fresh and tasty ? I ordered the ground beef enchiladas and was very pleased with how delicious they were. They give you fresh sauces and your own bag of fresh cooked tortilla chips. The service was quick and a pleasant staff as well. I recommend this place it's clean inside however I ordered my food to go and it came very fast and hot ?

the beef tacos tasted like cheap cheeseburgers! No taco flavor at all.
