For a typical meat and three it was ok. We walked in and it seemed like everyone saw us and nobody even said "Be right there" or anything similar. We waited at the table for a good little while before someone took our drink order. The hot chicken was bland, corn was from a can, disappointed in what is called cornbread. It's more like a flapjack. Flour bread, but it had corn in it. The turkey and dressing was good bit needed more seasoning as well. The tomatoes, onions, amd cucumber salad was not seasoned at all. I may stick with the other meat and three in town.

Everything about the restaurant is nice but their ham is was doo doo and I tasted like had been dropped on the floor m an my gf both hated it
I also spent $40 for both of us so you're better off going to Cracker Barrel where it's genuinely cheaper

I've passed this place many times. "RUTHS KITCHEN". Quiet small little place just passing the Goodlettsville line from Madison on the left-hand side. There may be about 20 tables small fit 4 small people. It's like a meat and three.
I had roast beef, greens, and yams. Roast beef was tender a little bland. The greens bland. The yams were ok. So my other, half orders meatloaf, okra, squash. Why did he order meatloaf with onions beats 💓 me when he doesn't even like onion. Lol, too much. 😆
Well, here they do have 3 types of bread offered roll, cornbread, or jalapeño cornbread. It's drier than we like. The jalapeño one could have had a little more kick. All in all, I feel like a 3 would be what I give. Never hesitate, though, to visit the locally owned.

I wouldn't recommend it. Food was not great. Didn't appear to be good quality. Biscuits were overcooked, gravy wasn't great, ham was dry and thin. I don't know how this place stays in business. I got my food and and my husband didn't. A table that came after us got all their food at once. It's attached to a run down motel. It's just a no, sorry.
