Check your food before you leave the drive through. Saturday, Jan 3, 1845. Ordered a BBQ tray with hush puppies and cheese bites. When going to eat the food it was discovered I had a BBQ sandwich with no BBQ, 4 little chicken tenders instead of hush puppies, and 5 measly cheese bites. I feel like they didn't even make an order, they just have he what they had left over from previous orders. I would be embarrassed to serve this food to anyone that paid. This will be the last time we go there. Absolutely not worth the price or the effort. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. The staff are too busy on their phones to be bothered to get your order correct. We really love their cheese bites, but what they served us was an insult.

Cookout is always one of my favorite fast food picks. The shakes are always great. The service is hit and miss though. I went the other day and my order was lost and they didn't know where it went. I took my receipt to the counter and asked about it after 15 minutes, the cashier asked what I got and when I ordered it (they were literally the person that rang me up and acted like I was trying to sneak free food). She took my receipt and went to the back and never brought my receipt back. She then walked past me without any acknowledgement of what was going on and started taking another person. So I stood there still until someone else came and asked what I needed. I explained to them what had happened, and they said Oh it's right here (on the other side of the wall from the counter). It had been 22 minutes. When my 7 year old opened up his tray that he was patiently waited for his chicken nuggets were burnt. I can say the inside is always clean and I love they have Christian music playing and the John 3:16 on their cups.
The night shift manager Samuel always has an awesome staff. He makes sure your order is the way you order it. It's always very clean when he's working.
The Cheerwine floats are GOOD! Prices are fair better than most and open late.

Tried to eat and all I could think about was the cockroaches in the bathroom, 7 of them crawling all over and it makes my skin crawl, told the agm to no avail and was they'll call orkin again , was there this morning, if bugs in bathroom with no food, how many bugs are on the food at night? I'm totally sickened and will not return to cookout, totally sickened

Food is decent. Service is fast. Proportions sizes are not the best. 3 dollars will get you 4 or 5 onion rings
This is typically my go-to spot. However today I ordered my food and I'm not sure exactly what happened to my tray but it looks like oil was dripped all in it melting the plastic giving all my food a mild plastic taste. It could have been that the food was just put in extremely hot I'm not sure. The other thing I've never been able to understand is how a side of nuggets is 5 but when I get them in a cookout tray I only ever get three. If I order french fries I get the same quantity either way. And if I order a quesadilla with my tray it has no meat. Maybe there's some but it's not noticeable, however when I order a quesadilla on its own it actually has meat in it not sure if this is the way they're trying to cut corners and save money but don't tell me I'm getting the same thing.
