Our server was great. However their menu changes are not great. My family always buys the loaded cheese fries. They have changed the fries entirely. They are smaller fries than the old and the flavor was so bad we couldn't eat them and had to send them back. My family does not normally send food back. We usually just eat it and hope it was just an off night for the cook. However their bacon on the fries didn't even taste good. We then asked for a baked potato and even those were tough and didn't taste good. Fatz was our family favorite restaurant but I don't think we will be back as long as they keep the menu changes the way they are. It was just not the same.
Good food and good service. You must, however, bring back the broccoli casserole! That was the best! The old menu, as a whole was much better though you've definitely stepped up your Mac n cheese game. Still a good experience but definitely don't stay downgraded to this new menu. The items on the old one are what kept me coming back. :)
Breakfast was very good except for bacon. It was raw asked for some that was done. They took mine back and microwaved itYep it was done then. Teach your cooks how to properly prepare meat. Yuk.
We absolutely loved this palce.the food was delicious. We kinda ordered to many appetizers (cause we wanted to try it all).So we were full when our meal came.the portions are ridiculously big.highly recommend.the Nashville hot sandwich is delicious and very filling, could not eat it all.
Had a 6 oz. steak meal. Very good quality meal and service. I don't eat there much because it's a bit above my pay grade. However it is a very nice place to eat.
Tried Fatz’ new breakfast/brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. Lots of food for the price and everything was superb. My husband had the biscuit & gravy plus added a side of eggs. The biscuit was HUGE and they didn’t have enough gravy on it but they gladly provided extra gravy upon request. I requested to sub the double stack of pancakes instead of toast with my omelette. They gave me the toast plus one side of pancake. Since they charge an upgrade for the “double” stack per the menu, you’d think they’d give you two. I didn’t even comment on that and the server mentioned that she pointed this out to her manager but they insisted on just giving one. It didn’t matter to me because it was plenty of food but there are people that will raise a stink about it since it contradicts the print on the menu. All that being said, everything was absolutely delicious; I didn’t even have to add salt & pepper to my omelette or potatoes since they were well seasoned. Pretty sure my potatoes were freshly cut as they were outstanding. Overall my hubby and I spent just a couple of dollars less than our average breakfast at Waffle House. We always go out for breakfast at least once each weekend and will definitely add Fatz to the rotation. Note: I believe they are serving breakfast M-F until 11am and serving on Saturday and Sunday until 2pm. Highly recommend.
Dee was great as usual. Fatz has always been our go to place for many years. Food was absolutely horrible today. Chicken and dumplings tasted like wall paper paste and portion size pitiful for 10.00. Chicken noodle soup had 4 small macaroni in it. Fish and chips was total disappointment. Literally 75 percent batter over tiny pieces of fish. Loaded baked potato soup had no taste. We were totally disappointed and felt ripped off. Don't care to go back
Received our appetizer after the entrees arrived. (Only because we reminded them that we never received it)Not impressed with the new dinner menu. Many favorite entrees have disappeared. Husband ordered the chicken and dumpling meal. Entire $14.99 meal was a small bowl (talking side of soup sized). Not a single dumpling in the bowl. He left the restaurant hungry. The poppy bread is still a favorite.Table tops are super sticky. Waitress was telling everyone that their cleaning products were removing the finish.
Harley was exceptional. She is an ace when it comes to customer service. We enjoyed the interaction with her. The food was great!!! This was my first time eating at Fatz Cafe. I just wish there was one in the DFW are of Texas!
Food was great! We didn’t wait long at all on our food. Our waitress Michelle was amazing! She made sure our drinks were full, and made sure we had all we asked for. She was also very friendly!

Every time I've been there the food has been great. Michelle is the best waitress I've ever had at any establishment. I ask for her every time, that's one reason we keep coming back.
Me and my family ate at Fatz on mother's day . I had the fish and my family at calabash chicken. We enjoyed every bite. Our server was Michelle and she really knew the menu and answered all our questions. She was awesome!
