Food is really good. Last time I drove across the town to eat there I arrived at 7:20, the door was open and the sign said close at 8:00. There were people in there and they wouldn't serve me. Told me they were closed. Won't go back.

The food here is awesome. I highly recommend the pork butt fries on sidewinder fries and the staff here is friendly and helpful. The only reason I don't give it a full five is because the space is small and there aren't a lot of tables and it makes for a little bit of a cramped feeling when dining in. The good news is their food travels well I definitely see grabbing some food Togo and heading for a picnic in the mountains.

The BBQ beef brisket is fantastic! So are the pulled pork and chicken...(Unfortunately, I never got a call back from the catering department, so I had my husband's "Suprise Birthday Party" catered by a different BBQ establishment.)
The best bbq and restaurant in town! Every time I eat at HIX they never disappoint. Not only do they have the best food, but they have the best owners around. Highly recommend!

Best pulled pork I have ever eaten. We had the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer and they did not disappoint. They make homemade potato chips cooked to perfection! The gentleman sitting next to us had a 32ounce steak that was so juicy and tender. Not only is the food fantastic it is also priced reasonably. The restaurant is casual dining in a smoke free environment. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I can't wait to go back!!

Brian and Angela have a nice little restaurant. It's not fancy the food is delicious. The BBQ was excellent, and the sauces are even better (vinegar, sweet, and spicy). The onion rings the best in town. Alicia is a darn good waitress. We're coming back; often.
