Food received today was very poorly cooked. Meat tough and overcooked. Coleslaw and potato salad, well I have had store bought that tasted better that what they served. Customer service oaky except manager Rich was rude when we complained about food. Will never go back. Johnson City service and food much better.

We live in Greeneville, TN and have been to Southern Craft Greeneville a few times. Unfortunately tonight was such a disappointment. The store was busy but not crowded, and we were one of two couples sitting at the bar. It took 5 minutes to be acknowledged by the bartender (handed us menus) and after 10 more minutes of watching her take walk up orders we decided to leave. At one time there were 6 staff behind the bar, looking at their phones and chatting. No one was in any hurry to wait on us and everyone was good at avoiding eye contact. Southern Craft is better than this and maybe it was an off night, but sort of ruined our experience and desire to come back.

Food is good. Ambiance is nice. Service is friendly. Definitely recommend. Ribs were a bit fatty so I won't get them again...

We went for supper. Food was good. I ordered the killer b. It was good, but they forgot slaw. BBQ is good. The restaurant itself isn't made for space. Handicapp access was easy. Also, I think they need bigger buns.Vegetarian options: They have grilled vegs for options.Wheelchair accessibility: Good

I recently retired and moved to the Eastern Tennessee Mountains. I've been smoking meats for 43 years; being a native Floridian (6th Generation) I smoked my fair share of pork butts, briskets, beef ribs, pork ribs, fish, chicken, hams, and homemade sausage's. So naturally, the first thing I asked the folks in and around my new retirement home is "where's your best BBQ joint" ? Everyone mentioned Southern Craft BBQ so I gave it a try. This restaurant has several locations in the area and I visited the location in Greenville, TN. When I go into a BBQ joint for the first time; my scale is pretty simple....first ( for me) is there any WOW factor in service and food taste. Price is always on the scale as well, but its weight fully depends on the service AND taste/quality of the food. So here we go; the service was five stars, from the front desk, the seater, and my waitress. All of them were polite, knew their job, and performed it very well. Absolutely no issues with the service - they all did a great job. Now for the food. It was delivered to my table quicker than I expected, that (in some cases) may not be a good indicator the food is going to WOW me. I ordered the two meat plate, asked for ribs and burnt ends. I was told they were out of ribs, so I ordered the brisket and burnt ends. This plate came with a cup of beans and a small portion of red skin potato salad and 1/2 piece of garlic toast. There were four different types of BBQ sauce on the table - all of them were commercially produced, none of them was a local "homemade" sauce. The sauces were all mediocre. The brisket was very normal, they did provide pieces of brisket with sufficient fat that is a "must have" for me, however, the taste and texture was very "normal". The burnt ends (in my opinion) were not brisket or pork - they appeared to be cubes of a chuck roast...which are called "the poor man's burnt ends". Again, the burnt ends were quite normal and mediocre. The potato salad was comprised of red skin potatoes and mayonnaise with some parsley mixed in. It was quite bland, no sweetness to it at all or other seasoning that could have made it more pleasing to the palate, i.e., real cane sugar, bacon fat, celery, sweet onions, hard boiled eggs, a capful of white vinegar, and pimentos. The 1/2 triangle piece of garlic toast was stale and room temp - it was obvious that it had been sitting out in the open air for 30-45 minutes or more. Last but not least were the BBQ Beans in a coffee cup. They were very good and were not your normal bean you're used to getting in a BBQ joint. They were very large and resembled more of a bean soup than a cup full of thick BBQ Beans, very light in color BUT very tasty. I paid almost $35.00 for this meal which included the glass of sweet tea and the tip. I observed another party of 4 seating next to me. They ordered the BUTCHERS BLOCK which provides you a portion of ALL THE MEATS. It was $110.00 and that party took 5 "to go" boxes with them upon leaving. I stayed to see how much of it they would/could eat of this monstrous platter - they took 80% of it home. Not a good sign either.....

Absolutely amazing food. The BBQ sauce is a malt based sauce. Didn't think that I would like it. But, It was surprisingly amazing on everything including the smoked 1/2 chicken. The smoked chicken looks dry on the outside which is normal for smoked foods. Yet wet moist and flavorful on the inside. Delicious! Sweet tea is perfect. Nothing is under seasoned, or over seasoned. The smokey flavors are perfect. We were a large party, and tried each other's foods. Not a single disappointment to be found. The waiters are amazing, fast, courteous, and on top of everything. Will come again.

Went here Tuesday Feb 27. The parking lot was a little full , a good sign for a Tuesday night. We went in got seated pretty soon, and had a great waitress, she was very friendly and nice. I had ribs which was the best ones I've had in awhile, fries and baked beans were really good. My brother had pork belly he said it was great, mom and dad had BBQ chicken they both liked it. The green tomatoes were okay and the sweet tea could've been a little sweeter, but it wasn't bad. We will be coming back hereParking: Lots of people here that night a little hard to find a spot

The place was clean, well lit, and well staffed. There is too much on the menu to try it all at once, but the ribs were done right, thoroughly smoked with no hard or chewy spots. The beans were excellent and the house made BBQ sauces are as advertised. The staff was clean and efficient. I go through drinks faster than most guests, but my server was on top of it. The decor is intentionally pastoral which is nice because it doesn't feel like a chain restaurant. Everyone around me seemed to be having a nice time as well. My advice is to make several trips and work your way through the menu. I plan to.Parking: There are plenty of spots available for the space inside. If there's nowhere to park then there's also nowhere to sit. Lol

A friend and I stopped by for a late lunch. Although the restaurant did not look busy, we had about a 20 minute wait. Most likely due to a shortage of personnel.I had the Killer B sandwich which was delicious and filling along with the good french fries. Our server was efficient, friendly, and non-intrusive: just how I like it.I found it interesting though, that while the ambiance and decor was upscale, many of the servers and other employees were not dressed to complement the environment. One young man looked like he was dressed to go to a street fight. I don't know if he was a server or one that delivers the food from the kitchen. The pricing was a bit higher than expected; but the food and service mitigated the cost.
