The Greeneville culinary scene is not NYC. It's not even Johnson City. When I need my Asian taste buds scratched, Thai's Joy is my go-to. First, I don't think I've had better table service in Greeneville than at TJ. It's prompt with just enough check-backs to be sure drinks are filled, etc. If it's busy and the meal is taking a little longer, I get the quick update as the server passes by, so I'm not wondering what's going on in the kitchen. I'm a frequent lunch eater at TJ. They have a great selection of items, but my faves are General Tso's chicken or chicken pad Thai. Pretty basic you say? Sure, but if it's good, I won't complain about it. Dinner options are more expensive and to be honest I didn't see a huge difference in portions to the price increase.

Ordered pineapple fried rice without egg. Way too oily so it was not appetizing, worse as leftovers. The place had this smell ...not deliciously tempting to stay in the restaurant and eat there but I had no choice. The service was not too shabby. I would not recommend this dish. Don't know if the other items on their menu are any better...I wouldn't risk it.

The food here is amazing. Our faves are the Pho and the Pad Thai, but everything is fabulous. The food sometimes takes some time but it's worth the wait.

The server treated my 5 yr old grandson as a king. She found a way to get him chocolate milk with his meal and give him tempora chicken in place of chicken nuggets. My meal was incredible and the other members at the table enjoyed every bite.Kid-friendliness: The server joked with my grandson and made sure he enjoyed his visit.

I ordered takeout while visiting family in Greeneville and it did not disappoint! I ordered the pad kee mouw and a spicy tuna roll and both were great! Best meal I’ve had in Greeneville.

Atmosphere is lacking. Four Seasons was decent. The curry I had was watery. I’d recommend going to the Indian restaurant in Johnson City if you want much better curry.

Uses to be our favorite "Go To" but not so much anymore. Name changed, don't know if new owner. Prices up, food quality lower - so sad - we miss the great food, good service & fun place to be. Miss the old Thai Joy.

Always good Asian food. We frequently get takeout and have never been disappointed. Lettuce wraps and dumplings are both great appetizers. I like the General Tso's chicken for dinner.Vegetarian options: Available.
