We live in Kingsport, TN and travel to Nashville often. We always stop at this Shoney's. It's Father's Day! Super busy full house at 2:30 pm, but was sat in less than 5 minutes. Buffet was hot and full. Great place to eat, even when it's not Father's Day.
Love going to this location when I travel for the breakfast bar. Food was hot and fresh and service was mostly good. Wait to pay was a little long but it looked like they were short handed. But walk in sit down and eat, what's not to like?
Not very impressed with the food. I've gone for lunch and dinner. Went on a rib night and the ribs were tough. Fried chicken I had for lunch and it was great. On both occasions sides were not that great and not that hot. Prices are convenient though. I'll have to try breakfast next. Maybe it's better
