Food is good and the staff are amazing! Super friendly!!
First time eating here. Food was great. Server was excellent even though she was by herself. And the atmosphere was easy going and welcoming
Great service, affordable and a ton of good food! Recommend if you're close, stop in and make your tummy happy!
Solid county diner experience.
Visiting family here in Hartsville from Houston. Decided to try it out. Man oh man.......Great food but even BETTER service!!! Definitely coming back. 👌
Great food, friendly staff and quick service. If staff wasn’t busy they were cleaning or topping off coffees at other tables.
Our waitress was so sweet. Food was amazing. Was done fast and literally the best chicken strips I’ve ever had!
Great local home cooking restaurant. Breakfast pork tenderloin is amazing!
We were traveling through and wanted some home cooking for breakfast. Early Bird Cafe did not disappoint. The service was great and the food even better. Large portion sizes; we brought back leftovers.
Awesome, little meat, and three! Just like Grandma made! Great service, food, and price! We come here often for breakfast, lunch, and supper!

Lunch yum
An absolute great place to eat.might be a short wait but if you don't mind sharing a table you'll get served faster and might make a new friend.the highlight of my day
1st time here. Won't be back. Service was good. Atmosphere ok. clean dining room, floor needs to be repainted. No longer has meatloaf. Daily special of Salisbury Steak was bad! Definitely Preformed frozen patty. Barely enough gravy to cover it, and it wasnt very warm, also not homemade. Mashed potatoes were OK. No gravy.(?) Slaw had lack of flavor Huge piece of cabbage. Neither sweet nor vinegary. Salt barely helped it all.Best was the roll. which we had to ask for butter for it.
We drove an hour just to try this place. Again, we won't be back.
The service was good, although i did have to ask for a refill of my drink when my meal was almost done, the atmosphere was decent, although the floor needed a repaint.
I had the Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and slaw. The steak wasn't very warm and reminded me of Banquet Frozen Salsbury Steak from Walmart ( it was definitely purchased prepared), I wanted a baked potato ( was told they only have them at night, I was there at 1:30), so I got the mashed potatoes instead. Tasted like instant potatoes yet it wasn't bad. And the slaw was definitely homemade, had large chunks of cabbage. Usually slaw is either sweet, or vinegar tasting. This was neither, but it was creamy.
That said, I did eat all the food. I did drive an hour each direction just to try the food because most of the reviews are good. I have a local restaurant that I can dine at if I want warmed up prepared food from Performance Food. Again, the service was good.
